with its pall bearers Georgetown and Boston College (by the way SLU is the 3rd in the rankings among the Jesuit networks as per my knowledge), their network of universities is the most powerful group after the Ivy Leagues in the US. You just don't enter one university system but a bigger network. Private colleges also tend for people to study harder because of the higher costs that goes with it.

Network of Jesuits schools starting from Georgetown and Boston College, if you plan to go to graduate school at these schools you get a preference compared to say like Illinois or Florida or Washington as you ellaborated.. Internationally, Remember the Jesuits rule the world ...hehe

That's the thing his pride was shaken in the NBA camp. I think he doesn't care about basketball anymore.. How we see achievement in US culture is really different in Greece..

Must master the art of fishing for fouls, and then make good on the free throws. Free throws are also a killer for us..

In his senior year, I wouldn't expect him to give a damn too much, just waiting to graduate.. As one poster said, that NBA camp may have hurt his confidence.
