  1. I have no hope anymore. I am a broken man who has given his last ounce of fandom to SLU. Someone mentioned previously that the worst part of this whole fiasco no longer wanting to share their passion and love of Billiken basketball with their kids and I concur...it’s just not worth it. Why scar them needlessly. RIP Billiken Basketball...
  2. Our friend John Brown has followed her Twitter handle...
  3. Radical and extreme. Perfect descriptors. There is absolutely no way this conclusion could have been reached without bias.
  4. The police report will come out eventually. Then we won’t need to speculate.
  5. Strong take by Frank. About time. Didn’t care for the statement about this destroying recruiting...not sure who he’s spoken with but if SLU does indeed get painted with a scarlet letter Ford will jump faster than Fred can say no comment.
  6. Agree with your interpretation of the players sentiment but that doesn’t necessarily indicate who is advising (or requiring) them to sit.
  7. Was thinking about this last night. Do you think that the players are not playing based on advice they are receiving from their counsel? While it does indirectly implicate them by their absence it could also be a strategy to preserve eligibility? I'm sure in the black hole that is this thread this has been discussed so apologies...I'm just not up to searching for it.
  8. I don’t believe Graves has traveled on a road trip yet. Now that he is technically eligible I’m hopeful he’s with them.
  9. Exactly. SLU's actions to date have been a de-facto punishment to the 3 players but they refuse to acknowledge it for what it is while they hide behind "staying true to the process". It's as if they're playing a game of poker with the lives of these men and women and just keep folding their hand when the action is on them.
  10. I don't understand how this could slow the process? To date, the outside firm conducted their investigation and turned their findings over to SLU about 3 weeks ago at which point both sides had the opportunity to review and respond (at least that is my understanding). I suppose her laywer may not have liked what the investigation uncovered and could have responded in a way that SLU is now treading even more carefully in an effort to avoid looking even worse? Just trying to piece together a potential scenario here. Regardless, Freddie's response that they're following the process but failing to disclose what the process is makes it even more clear there likely isn't a process at all now that it is in their hands.
  11. I can't see any scenario where the police / DA would wait on the University or the outside investigators findings/resolution to determine whether they make an arrest(s) or bring charges. Then again, I am not a legal expert or law enforcement so what do I know.
  12. I credit being assigned to live on 3C for most everything good that happened to me at SLU. Walking onto the floor as a new freshman and seeing the AC/DC wall mural made me feel at home. It was like it’s own fraternity.
  13. The first beer I was ever served while at SLU was bought by a Jesuit priest...
  14. Get this kid an offer NOW!! https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2017/12/13/john-stamos-house-get-fuller-baby-way/947675001/
  15. As this team is currently constructed I agree with you and I think French will and should continue to a focal point but getting back our S2 players and Welmer will allow Ford to play the way he intended...a little more pressing, pushing the tempo and giving us more dimensions on the offensive end. It will make us more difficult to game plan for. I don't expect a switch to be turned on if/when our guys return but I like the idea of building towards that during A10 play.
  16. Santos is one ... not sure on the other. Ditched the sweats for this game.
