  1. yea, I dont think that was the play...haha
  2. I was really cheering for Roby during that stretch...tough.
  3. It would be nice to have a confidence builder like NCAT was supposed to be. Wichita plays Utah at Utah this week....they dont even know that we are on the schedule. Maybe we get them in hangover mode....
  4. I do not understand why he would want to be just a cog in the Kentucky machine rather than a hometown God. I dont buy into the fact that Calipari makes people NBA ready. If someone is that good then they are going to get drafted high regardless. But I take very little from these "friends of his are telling me" reports. They might be true, but 18 year olds change their mind all the time.
  5. "A friend of mine has a relative going to chaminade that takes classes with Tatum" sounds the opposite of reliable. My bubble is harder to burst then that.
  6. Outside shooting is really only needed enough to keep defenses honest. McCall was a good enough shooter to keep Defenses honest. On our roster now we have a lot of people who I am comfortable with taking open 3s. It would be nice if more fell though.
  7. I do not totally disagree. I just think that there is not a magic offense out there that produces points. One change that I think will help is quicker passes. Every time one of the newbies catches it, they look up to see if there is anything available, the defense adjusts, and then they swing. This basically equates to just a slow swing pass. A worthless effort. The faster swing pass will help and this will only come when the players know where they are supposed to be on the floor.
  8. Wow, that is a bold prediction Cgeldmacher. I am not sure what that is based on, especially in regard to MY. This kind of reads, "Roby and Yarbrough are athletic and that isn't the Billiken way...they should just leave". You were a big Paul Eckerle fan I am guessing... got a Luke Meyer poster above your bed?
  9. Was just writing something echoing Taj. We have to shoot 60-70% from three to have any chance at WSU. That said, if I had to choose an A+ team to match up with, I would choose one whose strength is in the guard position rather than the PF or C. Maybe the light turns on for Ash this week. Him at his best can compete with Baker and VanVleet. It's not fair to expect Bartley, MR, or Roby to do that at this point.
  10. Score needed here too. Out on a rig.
  11. My brain told me it would be a trying season, but my heart took over after the ISU road win. I am glad we have a quick turnaround to get the bad taste to subside. Let's win tonight, and then calling MSU a learning experience will be much easier to swallow
  12. The offense is the same one we ran last year. We miss rob loe the most. The freshmen don't know what it takes yet to run an offense. Crews will adjust. It might be coaching's fault but RM couldn't even get newbies to run this offense right away. Remember GW? You could see from the lay up lines that MSU was gonna outmuscle us off our spots and then pair that with 55% shooting and that's a bad combo. I hated the last 8 mins though. Carelessness hit the pinnacle then.
  13. That was everything manning is. Right there
  14. Crawford ... You earn an F- ...unbelievably disappointed in him.
  15. That is horrible call on MY. Leave it to Manning to ruin a run
  16. Manning nice jumper! Haha. But yea. Need him outta there
  17. We never play defense, we just hope for charges
