He hangs out with the players, and he is a notorious campus gym rat ... but, no, technically, he is not actually on the GW team. So why did the 6-foot-5, self-proclaimed shooting guard declare for the draft? "It's just kind of a thing to get publicity," he told the Washington Post. So which team would actually draft him? "I'm trying to get invited to the Orlando camp," he said. "I'm just trying to get a job. Dallas is deep enough to take me. They have a 10-man roster; they could put me as an 11th man. They're deep enough. They don't need a draft pick even; they could put it on me. And the Knicks draft anybody; they could take me. That's about it. Everybody else actually needs a draft pick."

the refs made the right call. the ball bounced in bounds and then up in the air. it didn't land until it was behind the memphis bench. it took at least a second.

it was great to see wendell get in and get that point. he sounds like a great kid. and broy, just so you know, brad mentioned in his postgame interview that he heard the chants to put wendell in, but he had to wait for the right time.

have you noticed that jeff gordon loves lisch? he's called him one of the best guards in the nation multiple times. i'm still not a huge gordon fan, but it's good to have that positive mention in the PD. this dayton game is huge for momentum!!

i wanted to compliment the Blue Crew on the slow clap during the intro. it's such a long intro that it's a crowd killer, but the slow clap helped yesterday. band, the "dui" chant was pretty funny, but you should have sang the hey baby song while he was shooting free throws.

i thought it was hilarious when they threw the shirt back. i would have done the same thing if i was at dayton.

I am all for the band playing every chance they get, but for some reason our "fans" only get pumped up during the canned music. (And when the little balls are thrown out and the people in the stands do their best imitation of the Coi Fish at the Botanical Garden lake. Look for it saturday night.) and speaking of "fans" why did they not stand up last night until there were 20 seconds left???? I couldn't believe it. We need Drejaj or Sloan back to try to pump fans up from the court. I wish Dwayne or Luke would try it sometime. I think the fans would respond.

ian has bedhead every game for 3 years and gets better each game. this year he gets his hair cut and he's not the same. bring back the bedhead!!! now he sleeps during the games.

at the Value City on Watson they have Billiken shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, and even Billiken boxers. more billikens stuff than i have ever seen in a store before. it was really good to see. finally just as much slu stuff as mizzou and illinois stuff. make sure you get people out to buy the stuff, so they know there is a demand for it.

I just graduated two years ago and I think Guy is hilarious. His comments crack me up. Many of my "younger" friends enjoy him as well. We need a more exciting (win some games!!) team to bring in the students, not a more exciting announcer. Btw, my favorite Guy comments come when he is announcing the elementary school games at halftime. Good stuff. p.s. The word is that the band is slimming back in membership this year.
