  1. "OMG! You are teh soooooo iminature!" Yep, 8-8. You got it right.
  2. to be fair, at 8-8, we're still ranked way higher in rpi.
  3. I think I lean towards Larry, because I think he could score in just about any situation- but Marque was clutch as hell.
  4. I never said SLU was underachieving, but are they overachieving? or even achieving at all? What are they now, 90th in rpi? Where would they be without 4 games against people in the bottom 270 or so in rpi? Neither of the teams are particularly good. I will admit that SLU is far more exciting to watch, and much less distressing with their play.
  5. How much better IS SLU playing? If record's all that matters, then yes- they have outplayed mizzou by a great margin. But they also had 4 gimme wins. I know, I know, the belmont loss. Cry me a river. Fact of the matter is, both teams fall into the category of "mediocre" this year, even if one team is much more exciting to watch.
  6. The same could be said of most of us. Namely your demigod steve.
  7. Stokes gets mentioned for sure, but he gets mentioned as it pertains to Mizzou generally. Sort of a "where would we be if we actually had a point guard?" Not a "look, Stokes had 3 points, 1 assist, and 4 turnovers last night."
  8. Hey, So long as you keep making paragraph long posts about me, You seem to care. I answer people because I enjoy to. They answer me back. This tells me that they must enjoy responding to me, even in argument. If you guys don't enjoy reading what I have to say, don't read it- and by all means, don't respond. I'll probably still post.
  9. Wow. What baseless nonsense. Everytime I visit SLU's campus I see people hanging outside of Griesedick (sic?) smoking. Thus, it can be confirmed that all SLU students are lazy smokers. Characterizing a group because of individuals has a name, you know.
  10. It's all arbitrary, really. There are no standards, and it's not worth worrying about.
  11. All this stuff is nothing compared to the Colorado Recruiting Sex Parties being alleged.
  12. i agree with you for the most part, but I think that the big 10, big 12, and conference usa are iffy for 5 bids. I don't want to say they won't get 5 bids, but they could all go either way.
  13. Gardner's iffy. He's my favorite player by far, but he's not NBA talent right now.
  14. I think Kleiza, Paulding, and Mckinney. Those are my 3. I would say AJ, but if he can't shoot a mid range shot anymore, he won't make it as a PF in the NBA. McKinnery and Kleiza have enough upside, and Paulding should be a 1st round pick, although not lottery like he might have been with a better performance this year.
  15. You mean, this ISN'T a Mizzou board? It's not like Robert Whaley or Wesley Stokes are brought up at other Mizzou boards. He transferred, worry about him not.
  16. Surely he's better than Brian Dailey. At least Pulley has the ballhandling skills to really drive the lane, but once he gets there we've been lost.
  17. From what I saw at the NU game, his wrist has been hurting him. They were looking at it before the NU game, he came out 2 minutes in, and then they looked at it on the bench. Maybe a name change is in order for the board.
  18. Not to mention that it's an inaccurate comparison.
  19. He replied to something I said by saying mizzou fans said something contrary- as though we were changing out opinions every couple minutes. It's never been my contention that mckinney was better than hughes. I'm not sure what point he was trying to make.
  20. I think what you're saying is nonsense. Bryant and Paulding is a push (although reggie's got a small advantage in ppg, paulding has a small edge in steals and blocks), Frericks vs. Bryant, Johnson, OR Kleiza is silly. Frericks is averaging 8.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 0.3 blocks a game...The lows in each of these stats between the 3 bigs for mizzou is 10.9 ppg (kleiza), 6.1 rpg (bryant), and 0.3 blocks (kleiza). Your contention that Frericks averaging 8.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 0.3 blocks per game is better than Arthur Johnson (in a bad year) averaging 13.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg, and 1.8 blocks per game is silly. And Hunt only plays about 8 minutes a game, I don't think it's fair to compare him to Jimmy McKinney, even as playing a position which is not his natural position.
  21. I think your bias is blinding you on this one. Maybe mine is too.
  22. because it'd be a home game for both teams, perhaps? Wait...your name's on the door...my fault.
  23. Having had the chance to see Kleiza in person on a regular basis (he lives in the dorm next to mine), I will categorically state that he could probably eat Magnus Vermagnusson.
  24. It would be, if SLU were the higher seed...
  25. "the important thing is to get that man out of the White House." That's the problem with every dem's campaign but Edwards. They're all running on the platform of "can't get worse," while edwards is running on the "why don't we make it better" platform.
