supersonic .. chill ... that post was on the ND board .. i think the ND basketball team is fairly clean ... so watch yourself .. only thing i can think of is that Troy Murphy was busted for under age drinking at "THE BACKER" .. (hey .. and our own Reggie Bryant was a part of the Villanova situation) yes ND folk reading this .. i've spent my fair share of time in south bend .. Notre Dame grads commonly show their pride by flaunting their rings. (believe me .. I live in C-town .. and hang out with a number of 02' graduates .. who all wear their rings .. even their engineering rings!) .. People from St. Louis are similar in that we always flaunt "where we went to high school." It's an odd thing. As for arrogance .. ND has a right to be arrogant about their football heritage .. still that gives them no right to look down on any university .. "as a university" .. This all started when a poster on the ND Board stated that we were the #2 Catholic U. according to US News and World Reports .. and then .. we were mocked .. for being #2 .. who cares .. no one here mentioned that we were #2 .. that was an ND folk .. we don't go around bragging about that .. then, an ND poster .. took the time to diss St. Louis .. which is odd considering the fact that ND students are often have run in's with South Bend townies .. For example, They had a bad incident I think 3 years ago when their lacrosse team that went to the NCAA Final Four .. they had a couple athletes accosted and mugged by townies in South Bend .. then .. then next weekend .. the same group of kids were throwing a party .. the same bunch of townies showed up at their place and assaulted the kids again (they were able to find their address' from the stolen wallets) .. along with all of the people at the party .. Off campus break in's are fairly common for students who choose to move off campus in their last years at ND. We have similar issues at SLU .. but then again .. it is in a major metropolitan area .. South Bend "ain't" exactly peachy .. no need to diss St. Louis ..

I agree with everything you two have said .. he was on local TV yesterday in Chicago .. i was not impressed .. but if they're calling him a lottery pick .. then he better rush out into the draft before he's not ..

Do you guys think that Marque will make the NBA sometime soon? He's having an MVP type year in the NBDL .. but Someone should have picked him up by now .. every other top 10 player in the NBDL has been signed to at least one "10 day" NBA contract .. Marque hasn't ..??? I thought that the Bulls would think about signing him to a 10 day contract .. they just released Rick Brunson .. only to sign Jannero Pargo .. they passed over the local boy .. for another local (pargo) .. For some reason Marque is way down on the pickings list .. his size must be in question, shot? .. but there is no reason he couldn't back up Kirk Hinrich .. If no bottom feeder gives him a shot this year, do you guys think he'll still eventually slip in? Why isn't Marque playing EuroBall? .. he'd probably be making 100,000 grand somewhere..

Yeah .. I think they should go to fort wayne .. I think they might influence the outcome of the game! Dude, it's probably not budgeted .. don't get upset .. Also, I'm pretty sure that Notre Dame doesn't have a dance team. Thus, there might have been an agreement that this would be a cheerleaders "only" event ..

they have Jordan Cornette who played well last night .. he's a banger .. I'm sure you guys remember his brother Joel at Butler .. cause he torched us last year .. absolutely killed us in the game at Butler .. We need a big game from our frontcourt .. I think Fish will do fine against Thomas ..

I have no problem with the Irish hosting this game. They have a higher RPI than SLU .. Couldn't they have found a better venue in Chicago .. I know they have a huge fan base in Chicago .. which is only about 90 miles away .. which is the same distance as Fort Wayne .. ND folk are saying that their university floated that idea (depaul's home venue, Allstate) .. and we rejected it .. is that possible?

this is ridiculous .. this downright sucks .. st. louis would get at least 10,000 for this game .. did the clock error play into it?

I think that our program is more "feared," but in a completely different sense that Duke is feared. Teams hate playing us. ... you should have heard the Cinci play by play guys .. And I think that because of this .. we do have the respect of knowledgeable fans, players, and coaches .. We don't have ESPN's eye on us normally .. I think that relates to our location and style of play .. I think Gordon respects the SLU program .. we played four guards all of last night .. they were the "little team that kicked ass" ..

I'm curious if anyone has any information as to why Philip Hunt started tonights game? Was it a senior thing? I love Philip, but I'm not quite sure what Soderberg is trying to do. Does our offense just "flow" better when he's in the game? .. Was he trying to motivate Anthony Drejaj? Cause if he did .. it worked! Seriously curious ...

that bullship scorekeeping .. was in our favor .. completely .. we won because the clocked ran down to zero when iowa scored .. instead of the clock stopping at five .. we looked in trouble .. and caught a break .. Iowa fans must be screaming ..

Pierre from Iowa scored with 5 seconds left .. crazy left handed layup .. then the scorekeeper screwed up... they didn't stop the clock .. it went down to 0 .. the bills had no timeouts .. but the clock was supposed to stop at 5 .. for Iowa's basket .. so .. iowa was up 2 ... bills essentially got a free timeout .. they inbounded to sloan .. dribbled down the court .. into the lane kicked out to AD with 1.5 seconds .. JACKPOT .. that's a winner .. by one BILLS GOT LUCKY WITH THE SCOREKEEPER ..
