That is a good list. At least some of them went to college and graduated. I do not think the Nash brothers ever graduated they might have went to college for 4 years but I saw one of them working at the Crestwood Mall foot locket a year ago, nice guy but like he said to me, he should have taken worked harder in the classroom and not depend on basketball. By the way what ever happened to George Clay the guy who transferred to the V from Riverview Gardens during the 90-91 season.

My question is everybody like DJ, randy Karraker etc... talk about how many people FLO JO sent to college. ALl that I can remember is this Bonner-SLU(graduted) LOVE-UMKC/UMSL(graduated) BOBO-Oklahoma(dropped out freshman year) in jail now Watkins- Vanderbilt(dropped out) MOBAP(dropped out) Rudy Washington- Long Beach (graduated) Melvin robinson-SLU/ASu Johnny Cooper-MOBAP(dropped out) I coached him at MOBAP, head case SHelton-SEMO(dropped out) MAC, hanging out on the street corner as we speak last time I saw him HIll BRothers- vtime can tell you there story McKiney-Mizzou Polk- SLU Kern-street corner I can not think of many other players Nash Brothers-they both dropped out Turnstall-Kansas, RIP I am sure there are a few who played at small colleges but people out act like he has sent tons of players to D1 My thing this is only a few and he has been coaching for 30 years

Well I know a couple of people up at ND and thats reason , (I can't think of his name right now), but thats why the the Asst AD did not take the job, because there was no contract for the position. Cant say I blame him for not taking it.

I guess he is pretty desperate for a job since at CU he is not well liked by his peers and the fact that Larry Biondi is not willing to give a contract to an AD. I have no clue why any AD would come here without a contract. SO this guy could be fired if he crosses the line too. Great job BIONDI. I

I like the uniforms too, hell if we could get players like that now a days, we could probably win and more people might show up. Wasn't Orlando a great player too bad he left. Those grawer teams had so much talent. They should change the uniforms back to that color and bring back the baby billiken, but we will have to get Biondis permision first.

Soderberg won 20 games with these guys and Big Rick will be lucky to win 15. He is too busy making excuses about not having enough talent. Maybe he should quit complaining and throwing his players underneath the bus because it is not going to get any better. Rick is passed his prime.

Maybe BIG RICK needs to quit making excuses about everything. I am not a huge notre dame fan but you never heard Charlie Weis once this year make an excuse about his team being horrible, he put all the blame on his shoulders. Hell, there are a lot of jobs open in WBB. Look at the two in the SEC, why wouldnt Shimmy Leave SLu, if another school offered her more money, better facilities, better campus, better conference, of course she is going to leave b/c the opportunity might not come around again. I wont be shocked if a SEC or Pac 10 or Big 10 school ends up getting her, she isa young coach that knows what she is doing. Its not like SLU would keep her around for 10 years if she lost like they did with JPIZZI. So SHimmy could leave and I would not blame her, if Cheryl want to keep her they better give her a raise in salary and her asst coaches, kind of like what they did to Charlie Weis at Notre dame.

As I remember Ty Willingham was fired on a sunday by that racist school notre dame

SLU will get destroyed by UNC, I am glad it is a sell out but the only reason it is a sell out is because UNC is here. UNC has better players than us, more athletic, if we have any chance to WIN we will have to play a perfect game.

From my sources she was kicked off the team for a bad attitude. Which I do not blame the coaches, they are better off with out her. She did not have a good work ethic anyway.

Where is Pizzotti? Is she even coaching any more? I miss her purple coat she always wore/

The ladies looked good, you can tell the difference of the team, that the girls enjoy playing for SHimmy and her staff compared to Pizzotti and her staff. I know its only one game, but the lady Bills could be a surprise this year.

She is better than Teresa, more athletic but both would be great to have together.

BROY, Rod is one of the coaches, I don't think ND would care if Kevin picked another school. but they never offered. ND is pretty good school and the basketball program is alot better than SLU's. THey have made the NCAA 3 time and the NIT 3 since Brey has been there. So, I think need a better shooter, defender than Kevin.

Notre dame did not offer I am friends with Rod and he told me they did not offer Kevin and when talking to Kevin he wanted to go to ND just like his dad and was heart broken when he was not offered.

She was quick, godd passer and strong. IMO she could play at Tenn with out a problem maybe not start right away but would gt a lot of playing time off the bench, but I have a gut feeling she is going to SLU, Tenn is great but when it comes to STL people we all like to be close to our family, I think that is just the nature of people in STL/

So if Nebraska offered maybe he didn't like the school etc.. and that is why he didn't go D-1 or maybe he realized after palying pick-up that he was not D1 material

I was at Shakara Jones open yesterday and she was wearing a SLU basketball t-shirt, so that is maybe a good sign that she is headed to SLU.
