SLU needs to fix their TV contract so a much broader base of the country can view their games on a consistent basis. It makes sense to do that so potential recruits and Alums living outside the St. Louis Metro area can see the team play.

On Reggie, I expected him to be good, but not this good so he has more than met my expectations. I don't know about any jinx for the Rams, but Jason is one lucky dude because Angie is one fine looking woman.

Yes, but the story I remember on him included the fact that he still would have gotten in IF he had completed some course work this summer and Master Morris did not complete the course work and that was the reason given for why he is not playing at SLU. While it would have been nice to have him, I won't get very worried about spilled milk...we've got to move on with the players that we have.

cheeseman, I suppose that you could have listened to the Dayton hook up on the internet if Ramsey bothers you that much. I did but then I am more or less boycotting SLU's internet hook up as it isn't free. I don't know what Woolard might have to say about that situation.

We find ourselves in kind of a nice position where we only have one scholie open for this class, so we can crystal ball into who we want for next year. I cannot recall that happening in quite awhile.

Direct TV must have changed since my Seattle days '96-'00 because evertime the Bills were on Fox Midwest in those days, I was able to pick it up. The major league baseball; however, I did get the Cards games blacked out which sucked.

Billy D is a good recruiter no question about it as has $nyder been. However, I don't think either one of them can coach their way out of a wet paper bag. $nyder also reminds me a lot of another slimeball HC who already got the boot, and that was Rick New Weasel former HC at UW. Seems to me that New Weasel and $nyder had something else in common, they both have law degrees.

I can't say for sure but when I lived in Seattle, I had Direct TV. I had the package that included all of the Fox stations and back then the Bills were on Fox Midwest. I also purchased the extra ESPN College Basketball plan. I saw lots of games on Fox Midwest and maybe one or two on the ESPN deal. It kind of sounds like maybe ESPN maybe picking up this game...now if I just knew which sports bar here in Tampa area has that package I would have it made.

We beat them 83-74 at Dayton on Dec. 23, 1999. Of course that was our last trip to the NCAA Tourney. We lost to them in a close one at home the year after, and then lost a 6 point game in '01-'02. Last year we beat Dayton at home...don't remember the score. This has been a competitive series and soon we will be conference foes again.

While he bemoaned Dayton's poor shooting Bucky Bockhorn (color man on UD's broadcast) said that SLU was easily the best defensive team that Dayton had faced this year. After a shaky offensive start, we lit it up pretty good on the offensive end too with 41 2nd half points. Case closed long ago on the Soderberg VS Gregory debate...Brad won me over after I thought about the hand he had in resurrecting the Wisconsin program. He's the perfect HC to get our program on a nice NCAA run.

While us fans have continued to question his choices for playing time for certain players...I just have to say that I really enjoy Coach Soderberg and his blue collar approach and I am very happy that he is our HC. He decides to mess with his rotation and shorten his bench after a 4-4 start and we win the next two games with one being our first road win of the year. Even if you still question him on who is playing and who is not, and by the way, I still think that is OK to do as a fan, you have to admit that Coach Soderberg knows what he is doing. IMO he's the perfect HC to get our program back on track. He has a system and it is a proven system, he had a big hand in the Wisconsin program resurrection. Our problem as fans is we want success right now, and isn't that the American way. We are getting there, but I kind of go along with the patient approach that some other contributors have been preaching...because once Coach gets this off the ground, then I think we have a chance for a prolonged run. Keep the faith, much better days are ahead.

To all of the great Billiken fans, but this fan has to go lay down and let my RN wife see if she can Dr. me tonight. I don't know that I can make it the next 3 hours. Way to go and congrats to Brad and our wonderful kids for making this New Year's Eve special with a nice win over UD. If we can clip K-State then a 7-4 non-conference record is where I wanted to be 4 games ago. We need to protect home court and try and steal some more in conference. Does anyone know if TCU is any good? Any Billiken party goers...I implore you to not drink and drive...find a designated driver. I need all of you back to continue hashing our teams progress. But I will not dispute that the Flyers have great fans. Hopefully, with our on campus arena and some better players, we can pack our new Biondi Dome night in and nitht out. St. Louis is fickle though and except for the Cards only support a winner.

I worked at the A & Eagle when I lived in St. Louis and still have a few shares of A-B stock.

But we need someone to hit some shots.
