billiken_roy
i noticed that we lost 9 points on the rpi overnite. i can only assume the computer did not like the siu loss to indiana.
kshoe
Roy, I'm not sure which site you ar looking at but Ken Pomeroy's site hasn't been updated for the Sunday games as of yet. His site doesn't seem to get updated till mid-day this year. http://kenpom.com/rpi.php We dropped a bunch of spots from the end on Friday to the end on Saturday, largeley because of the negative impact a home win over Tenn-martin has. This may be the 9 point drop you saw. Also, in addition to the SIU loss yesterday, Houston also lost at Arizona last night. "They said they only have one goal, they want to get into the NCAA Tournament. I asked them if it would be a failure if they didn't, and they said yes it would be a failure if they didn't do it." slu72 fan
Houston also got beat by Arizona by over 20. Houston absolutely played with no heart. No defense, run down and shoot a three or toss up a terrible runner. I think they shot about 15% from the 3.
davidnark
http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_Men.html It uses the same formula as Pomeroy, it just updates every five minutes instead of every day or two.
