3star_recruit
"We took a big step backward today," he said. "We've beaten the teams we should, but this game was evenly matched on paper. They just simply outplayed us. Before I criticize my players, I have to evaluate what I'm doing with these guys." I'm interested in seeing what Brad's evaluation turns up. Basketbill
before he criticizes his players he is going to look at what he is doing first!!!! You have to respect this guy.
billiken_roy
i would be willing to bet that coach soderberg had a bad night sleeping last nite. he knows big decisions are in front of him. a lot of puzzling personell on the billikens. and as aj pointed out in another string, i guess if we think about it, we had to expect their would be holes in the games of anthony drejaj or an izik ohannon simply from the fact they were available as late as they were. if they were perfect players, they wouldnt have been there for the taking in june. i know it is hard for any of us to make a decision that is against principals and rules we have always preached. but i am guessing that is what he is talking about. putting izik, justin or darren in the game even though they arent doing what he wants just to get the talent on the floor. Schasz
3star_recruit, I read Coach Soderberg's comments and while I don't want to try to read his mind...I believe that once he reviews this game, we likely could see some changes. The Butler game should be interesting.
