Billikenbooster
Heard today that the new arena will be having PSL type funding for the better seats (not new). There will be one bowl, no upper level. Does anyone know if that would be equivalent to the size of the lower bowl of the Savvis? The students will continue to be located under the baskets, not along the sides. There will be a charge for students, unlike the present system. There was a comment in the PD today that there would be a 900 seat configuration for the women's volleyball team. Does anyone know if this is on the bball court, or over on the practice courts? mhg
davidlee
It is my understanding that the 900 seat configuration for women's volleyball games would be on one of the practice courts.
billikenmetz
A charge for students???? So will students have to buy season tickets?
dewey33
There is already a season ticket package in place for students at a nominal fee....they will probably quit giving the freebies away on gamedays.
Billikenbooster
My thought that it will be more aggressive than that...that's why I'm asking if anyone in the know has more info? The school wants it to be a hot ticket...so supply and demand, supply is down, demand is up, our costs go....economics major anyone?...Buehler?...Buehler? anyone? mhg
bluecrewfinance
up...because of a new phenomenon called Biondi Economics...same sort of ring as Voodoo economics and just as mysterious.
cheeseman
Students buy the tickets at Missouri - what they do is sell it to them for a discount especially if you buy an all sport pass. Now that still meant that you had to enter a lottery for bb tix. You were assured of getting at least on 4 -5 game package and possibly more if you were drawn and based on those packages sold. 3 years ago the all season pass cost around $165 and did include football.
