DoctorB
folkz; maybe I missed it, but did you guys check out that crazy Hawk of St. Joe's He (or she) kept swinging his arms up and down, up and down, NON-STOP, for the entire game, including halftime. What is that about!?!?!?? 2 different students today here at SLU informed me that the rumor is, that this student receives free tuition for doing this. Also, that it is some sort of tradition that they must wave the arms over and over and over. Personally, I began to wonder if this person had some sort of learning disability. Imagine waving your arms up and down like that for over 2 hours.
Box and Won
Yep, the hawk gets a full ride. I think the constant flapping is kind of a cool tradition. Not sure why they get to bring the mascot to road games, but that's another story.

pakapablo
Talked with a St. Joe fan sitting behind their bench last night. He said they have annual tryouts for the Hawk. The last man standing gets the job and a free year of tuition. He said potential Hawks for next year were probably at home waving their arms the entire game getting ready for next year. billikenfan05
Besides a tradition its also a good piece of psychological warfare i mean i looked up at the seats a few times and saw ppl laughing and joking at the mascot i assume the team made the same comments. lol
billikenmetz
Um, who won the game? Our pathetic mascot or theirs?
Box and Won
We need to get the Dirt Cheap Chicken at the Savvis the next time we play St. Joe's there.
