gozagswoohoo
I have a couple questions for yans.... My zags are coming to SLU this season, as many of you already know. I am obviously coming to the game. I need to know the ticket situation..... 1- Is it assigned seating? 2- Do I need advanced tickets, if so, how do I get them? 3- How much are tickets? 4- Does anyone know the date of the game yet? 5- What is the square root of 6,241? Thanks for any info!
BillsWin
The game is December 22nd.
jjray
Here's a link to the ticket info: http://slubillikens.collegesports.com/tick...s-m-baskbl.html All of us in Billiken land admire the program the Zags have. Look forward to the game at Savvis.

bonwich
As for "advanced tickets," unless we start undefeated and/or all our newbies immediately start playing like lottery picks, you'll probably be able to walk up on game day and buy. We sit less than 20 rows behind the Billiken basket, and there are invariably opposing-team fans all around us for the bigger games. (I'd guess the Zags game will draw 12-14K unless we come out of the gate as badly as we did this past year, but that's still only 50% of our homecourt capacity.) gozagswoohoo
Well, I'm not going to need to worry about getting advanced tickets, or even getting tickets at all. Now that I see that the game is on December 22nd, I realize that I am not going to be able to go......I have to go on a family cruise. Somebody shoot me, I can't believe I am going to miss the Zags being here......Anyone know where I tall, highly trafficed bridge is?
bonwich
You could always make your point more vividly by simply jumping off the ship .
billiken_roy
jumping off the ship because he missed the billiken vs gonzaga game.........and people think i am over the top.
Schasz
Hey Zags fan, if you are cruising out of Tampa, FL the Sunshine Skyway Bridge isn't too shabby. The Zags are my 2nd favorite college team with the SLU Bills as my favorite. I must say that I have been a little disappointed in the Zags NCAA performance that last couple years. Since the Bills have not made it, I have not had much to root for in the Tourney.
Box and Won
If I would have been on a boat, I probably would have thrown myself overboard after last year's game against Gonzaga. Watching that game was like getting kicked in the groin repeatedly.
bonwich
> like getting kicked in the groin repeatedly. See, Roy? This guy has precisely the right credentials for selling the PSLs.
Box and Won
"Like getting kicked in the groin" is actually on my resume, under "Special Skills."
gozagswoohoo
Thank you all for the bridge recommendations, but I was wondering, do cruise ships have propellers? Cuz it might be just as quick to jump off the ship and land in the propellers, or whatever those boat fan thingys are called. Schasz- I know what you mean, we do great all season, pull off some huge upsets, and then go into the tourney playin like a scared Jr. high team. This last March, the zags played too much like they were trying to expose TTechs weaknesses, instead of using our strengths. I don't know....but I tell ya what, this will be the year of the ZAG!!!!!!! You have my word!
SLUAvtr
Yes, ships have two-three-four, depending on how big, but usually two huge ones plus a big ass rudder to clear away whatever is left (or to come back around for a second run )
gozagswoohoo
Ah, yikes. Well, what would be the quickest, and least painful death? That one might hurt a little bit
