SIUSalukis
Anybody headed to Columbia this weekend for the event? It's a fairly small tourney, but it should have some good players. http://www.stleagles.com
3star_recruit
I go every year. This year, the players of interest for us are Ty Adams for the Eagles and Cory Johnson for the Howard Pulley Black. Playground Warriors has a 6'7 235 lb bruising power forward named Andy Polka that I wouldn't be surprised if the staff got involved with. tseugnekillib
According to the Wisconsin Playground Warriors U17 roster, Polka attends Oshkosh West. Isn't that the high school that former SLU assistant, Lance Randle took over after his father died late last summer?
Major Majerus
The only Polka I know is the beer barrel...

RadDad1999
in fact he just recently decided to stay, after turning down a chance to replace Howard Moore as an assistant at Loyola. Randall replaced his dad, who died tragically before the season started and led OW to the sectionals with an undeafeated record before losing to another undefeated team in Wisconsin Rapids. Polka is also listed as having been offered by UW Milwaukee, and may be a late signee so teams can see his improvement. Another player on that team to watch in Josh Langenfeld (sp), a 6'5 junior to be. He has been lighting it up on the AAU circuit to date. Oshkosh West (my alma mater) will be a pre season favorite to advance to state, they have a 6'7 soph to be that is the next player to watch in these parts as well. Funny, when I was there, we pretty much stunk in hoops and were a football power. Now it's just the opposite.
