thetorch Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Nephew in the U City/Clayton area just finished his 2nd season of basketball and is 8 years old. Loves the game and he has my family's height. He's a bit young but he's never without a basketball and said he wants to play more and get better. We are looking for a good area program that can work him out a couple times a week personally or in small groups and also some of the best camps for his age group around the area in the summer. Thanks in advance for any info. Quote

Thanks in advance for any info. My son is 12 and is basketball obsessed. We did Shoot360 in Fenton until his season started in October. We will plan on returning in April when his club season wraps up and have the time to go again. A lot of STL current and former high school and college players are there. Hank Mathews over at McKendree does some 1 on 1 training along with small groups. Quote
TWH5861 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Check out Larry Hughes program. My son is in 8th grade and has played for a few different clubs over the last 6 years. The one common denominator from team parents is they have taken part or heard how Larry Hughes program focus on fundamentals especially for younger players. Quote
SLUMS81 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 You should look in to Nutriformance Athletic Republic. Located in Creve Coeur. Grade school through high school, and they also work with college athletes. Quote
