Taj79
La Salle can thank its lucky stars it's in the Big Five .... because outside of Villanova and (maybe) Temple, they schedule no one. And A10 beat writer Anthony Morelli believe this is a good schedule for La Salle because La Salle "made sure to include plenty of programs that are at their level." Small-minded thinking in my opinion. But likely true. La Salle was ranked #200 in the last KenPom last year. St. Joe's was #202. Their schedule this year is Sacred Heart (#324), Albany (#240), at Delaware (#225), Villanova at the Palestra (#12), at Temple (#143), Holy Cross (#304), Fairleigh Dickinson (#299), Penn (#219), at Bucknell (#276) and Drexel (#158). The only schools worth a damn are the Philly schools if you subtract Penn and replace them with Drexel. Six home, three away and one neutral site. The Gola Mausoleum should be packed and rocking in this scenario. Here's hoping all other schedules come out soon.
brianstl
It isn’t great for the conference, but I understand it from the La Salle side. They have had one winning season in the last decade. This schedule gives them a chance to change that narrative and then try to build off that.
cgeldmacher
Seems to me like LaSalle's non-con schedule should become their conference schedule next year if that's who they believe they should be playing.
