davidnark
http://tinyurl.com/uhwp Once again, Stu has been all over this story. Stu, thanks for the great coverage of the A-10 issue from start to finish. IMHO, this has been your best stretch of journalism (with the exception of the great SLU at crossroads article you wrote a year or two ago). davidnark
My conference prediction nearly two months ago was very close: http://www.billikens.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/d...orum=DCForumID2 (See the last paragraph of my post from September 16) On September 16, Woolard said that he thought it was very unlikely that four teams from CUSA would be invited to the Big East. I guess he was technically correct because five teams were invited.
Schasz
Once again, USF, the 5th CUSA school invited was strictly for their football program and the fact that the school is in Florida. I also agree that Stu has done a very good job staying on top of this story.
Basketbill
he may have been referring to four basketball only schools.....
tseugnekillib
Was Boston College's commitment to the ACC after September 16th?
Bluecrewwebmaster
The Athletic Department is holding a press conference this afternoon in the Busch Student Center. I would assume this is to announce we are joining the A10.
davidnark
Boston College was invited into the ACC on October 12 and accepted immediately. http://espn.go.com/ncaa/news/2003/1011/1635604.html
jjray
>>Reggie Bryants is looking more and more like, dare I say, MARQUE PERRY?!<< This concerns me a bit. On what little I have seen, Reggie can drive and score but that is not his strength. His strength is that sweet outside shot. I hope he does not alter his game and underutilize his strengths in order to become the new Marque Perry.
