Quality Is Job 1 Posted November 10, 2003 Share Posted November 10, 2003 The "pre-season" Sagarin Ratings are just what the Sagarin Rathings were at the end of the previous season. It does not (and cannot) take into account personnel changes that make every team different from the year before. Truly, the Sagarin is not indicative of the current season until it resets in mid-December and only the current year results are reflected in the ratings. I think we will play better than that and move up substantially as the year goes on, but I think most of us agree ... we have some things to prove at the beginning.
