eastsidejoe
RM does not like JUCO's because he wants players to go through his system for 4 years. Everyone in sync. I can understand that strategy. I believe he wanted to wind up with a perfect blend, 3-4 freshmen, 3-4 sophs, 3-4 jrs, and 3-4 seniors. He was right on target, but it seems "the situation" might spoil his well intended plan. Also, though Spoon got some decent JUCOs, what % of good JUCO players that would start immediately would get into SLU academically and also make passing grades? I don't know, but I'd bet it is a very low %. You are probably correct based on past experience, but how does that advance the argument. What it does is tell us that the "situation" destroyed not only this season but the plan for future seasons. There I said it again 05.
