STLfan
that I have seen so far. http://www.break-down.com/dailybreakdown/i....cfm?textID=837 but who know maybe he will be added or something. That would be huge for SLU to get a Mcd All american.
BLIKNS
The way I took it he was one of the nominees(sp?)There are alot of players named to that list, and not one of the finalist.
Nate Latsch
Luke Meyer was a McDonald's All-American nominee, along with more than 1,000 other boys basketball players throughout the U.S. and several players from the St. Louis area. There is no one good enough from St. Louis to be picked for the game this year. The next best chance for St. Louis to get a McD's All-American might be Hazelwood Central sophomore Alex Tyus. - Nate
DeSmetBilliken
Hundreds if not thousands of players are nominated for the McD's All-American game each year. A coach can nominate any player he wants. After nominations are given out, the list is then cut down. Luke was most likely nominated. BillsWin
So has SLU started recruiting Alex Tyus yet?
cheesycow
Even as a junior Tyler Hansbrough (sic?) is the most impressive basketball player in the state of missouri. Coach K told him he could have started at Duke early in the season.
