NashvilleBilliken
Lisch was named A-10 co-player of the week. The first one for our team all year. Kevin Lisch - Saint Louis Sophomore, Guard, 6-2, Belleville, IL/Althoff HS Lisch scored a career-high 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting on Jan. 25 as Saint Louis downed Charlotte, 76-63...shot 5-of-8 from beyond the arc and 5-of-6 from the line...added four rebounds, four assists and one steal...missed the Billikens' previous game due to a calf injury. http://atlantic10.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl.../012807aab.html
Quality Is Job 1
Why Liddell hasn't garnered any A-10 awards this year is beyond me. Is he so good that they're taking him for granted?
willie
Thicks its probably because we lost most of those games when Tommie was knocking down his 20.
Canadian
That may also be because WE HAVE NO GAMES ON TV!!! Not even crappy internet feeds like the Horizon League! We'd be better off if we joined the Sun Belt. At least then we'd have a chance of being on TV - during the NCAA tournament...The A-10 is an embaressment. And the fact that we are below 500 in this pathetic conference is even more embaressing. So why would anyone pay attention to Tommie? Chicago Billiken
That is ok. Tommie will be the first First-Team All A-10 to not be named player of the week. The kid is unbelievable! I understand the rationale that we lost but that doesn't take anything away from the kind of player Tommie is. Tommie has the opportunity to transform any game. He is a very respectful player, keeps his mouth shut and lets his playing do the talking. He will be one of the best players in this conference when it is all said and done.
