  1. Basically, what I’ve heard is that the NFL would promise a team to STL 5-10 years down the road, then add another 34th team at that point.
  2. I’ll take it! Go lesser of all evils! Go Braves!
  3. I’ve heard/seen from multiple sources that it’s being discussed. How realistic it is, I’m not sure. It would probably depend on getting a better idea on a dollar amount that might be headed back to STL in damages, and whether they really trust Kroenke to cover all (or most) of it.
  4. I’m not making a prediction on if, or how much Lorentsson will play, but I will say that I don’t put any stock in last year to what he could be going forward. Remember it took weeks (even months maybe) before he could even get on campus because of all the student visas issues due to covid. He was so far behind everybody else in terms of learning the offenses and defenses. Then you add all the work I’m sure he had with conditioning and in the weight room. Then you add in living in a completely different country and going class and all that. He deserves to have a clean slate going into this year. And from following the guys on social media, they all seem to love him. I’d love to see him get some run this year, even if it’s just in blowouts.
  5. Great post. Lol. Sounds like Adams snd Aaronson coming in at half. That’s a start.
  6. Not saying you’re wrong, but they said he has a tight quad. And it did look like he might’ve tweaked something at the end of the Jamaica game. Could just be a cover story for not being vaccinated, but that’s what I read.
  7. Read today, Weston’s injury is not serious. But with the travel, just taking precautions and giving him some rest and time to rehab by going straight to Columbus for Costa Rica. Should be good to go later this week.
  8. hopefully this Instagram link works. I suck at that stuff. The ball movement leading to a TJ 3ball. I love it! https://www.instagram.com/p/CU0tOefrw6m/?utm_medium=copy_link
  9. I saw a tweet last night, can’t remember who it was from, but said that Ajax and 1 other team, might’ve been PSV (I’m going off my horrible memory here) had scouts at the game looking at Pepi. I know Ajax was 1 of the teams mentioned.
  10. I still think Sargent has a spot on the roster, for certain situations, given that his hold up play is superior to anybody else we have, but the #9 is now Pepi’s job to lose. Good for him. It’s been a while since we had somebody finish the way he has been.
  11. Agreed. Put up a clip of Gibson hitting two 3’s within about 15 seconds today.
  12. Totally agree! And I have no problem with rotating guys. It’s the smart move. Let’s F-ing go boys!
  13. Starting lineup tonight vs Jamaica. My only gripe is I’d prefer to see either Hoppe or Weah starting, but the idea of them coming off the bench is exciting to me.
  14. Appreciate you clearing that up. Yeah that sucks. I’ve heard the Coliseum is a dump. I’m so used to not having an decent public transit that I never really think about how many other cities rely on it day toy day.
  15. I kind of agree. My expectation for his 3-point shooting is that he’ll be better than Yuri, JGood, Thatch, but not as good as Gibson, Perk, Williams, Jones.
  16. I like this! But judging by Okoro’s size, length, mobility, Osun is probably the only big guy in the league that can even keep up. And that’s just on 1st glance. My hope is that our outside shooting is improved enough with Perk, Nesbitt, Gibby, Williams, Jones, TJ that teams have to at least try to guard Okoro 1-on-1 inside. If that happens, he’s going to eat the A10’s big men alive.
  17. This is a great idea, but why not both? With Okoro, TJ, Nesbitt, Strickland, the dunk contest is gonna be must-see TV too
  18. Okoro was still a part of the team last year too. He just didn’t play. I’m sure he’s more than proficient with the system, sets and rotations.
  19. Appreciate the honesty. That’s basically what I was asking. No judgement here. Never blame a kid for doing what’s best for him and his family. But who knows where things will stand in 2 years.
