It all started at the end of the 3rd, a kid from Mean Streets hit one from about 26 feet. I’m not sure if it was the very next possession, but pretty close, Kramer answered hitting one from the damn parking lot. After that it was all Kramer and Thames to end the 3rd.

Nick Kramer WENT OFF at the end of the 3rd quarter. Two 3’s and an alley pop assist to Thames on consecutive possessions. Kramer is up to 8 points.

Just turned on the game. Have Thames and Kramer done much in the first half?

Or assuming that there weren’t black coaches along the way that felt the exact same way Hanlen does. I’m not going to turn this political (because there’s really nothing political about this tragic story), i don’t care if you’re left or right, it’s just crazy to me how the whole world seems to have turned into a pressure cooker.

For anyone who’s interested, there are 2 really good episodes of the Revisionist History podcast where he touches on some of this stuff through the context of educational inequality and how easy it can be to get sucked into that kind of life. I’m not ashamed to admit that the episode “Carlos Doesn’t Remember” brought me to tears.

From what I can tell, people aren’t upset about the telling of Cam’s story. It’s the timing. That stuff doesn’t have to be said right now. Give it some time.

This is a barstool thing intended to troll people. That being said, I think a lot of it is actually spot on.

That may be the case. I give Lorentsson a little bit of a pass for last season. It was already gonna be a crazy year, and it was made even crazier for him because of his student visa situation and getting on campus so late. I’m not sure I expect him to regularly play big minutes this year, but I’m not ready to call him a total bust either, especially if he can shoot as advertised.

The only thing that worries me would be if Linssen or Okoro got hurt for any substantial length of time. Our post depth isn’t the same without Jimmy Bell. But on the surface, I agree with Roy here. But having a guy we could turn to in worst case scenario would be nice.

My guess is that any 2021 kid we get at this point is going to be a backup to a certain extent. I don’t see any potential 2021 big men taking significant time from Okoro or Linssen. I don’t see any potential 2021 guards taking time from Yuri or Nesbit or TJ or Jimerson ect. But I think there’s still value in filling at least 1 of the available scholarships, just in case.

I've only seen a small sample of Nick Kramer's play, but I really love about him is: you can just tell how competitive he is. He wants to win. He's the type of kid where you're never going to have to worry about him hustling. He puts in the work on defense, has a good looking shot, but he just looks like he's an elite competitor. And I know this is one of the most cliche college basketball lines ever, but you can't really teach that. You either have it, or you don't. Really excited to watch him at The Fetz!

Shaq Moore gives USA the lead 20 seconds in. We have to beat Canada today to win the group (Canada owns the tiebreaker), but we’re both already into the knockout round.

So, and correct me if I’m wrong @courtside, but I believe what you’re trying to say is: “she’s good”. Coach Shields continues to impress. Awesome!
