  1. How many times are we going to dribble onto a 1v3 situation in the attacking third, only to be dispossessed?
  2. Although I did play against Kevin Lischh in a tournament once. We were in 8th grade and Lisch lit us up as a 6th grader playing up 2 years for better competition lol.
  3. Not exactly, I argued because I was not good, so I had to contribute something lol.
  4. I know I should be saying let Coach Ford worry about the refs, but that intensity. I was that type of player.
  5. For sure. I'm enjoying BB's posts. He was great while watching the stream against Quincy too.
  6. Hey, we knew with this many newcomers there would be going pains. Luckily our first losable game (hopefully) isn't until we head to Jersey. Not worried about an exhibition at all. We're gonna be fine. Not like we're losing.
  7. Yeah every team has nights like that. Better to have it happen in an exhibition and there's more than 1 way to win a game.
  8. Hey guys, I'm not at the game so only going from what I see on the board. Not saying it's ever good that were cold shooting, but at least we know that on nights were cold, we're still gonna dog them on defense and rebound like crazy. Some nights it's just not falling.
  9. https://www.stltoday.com/sports/college/slu/slu-s-ford-and-umsl-s-sundvold-reunite-in-exhibition/article_7e49e618-acd5-5f02-bf47-94e30ef280ce.html Hey guys, might already be posted, but a cool story about Coach Ford's relationship with UMSL's Coach Sunvold.
  10. This is my early nomination for quote if the season. So great!
  11. Guys, I'm gonna need a big beach towel for this one!
  12. LOL, thanks 05. Still figuring out the board. For a (borderline) millennial, I am really really horrible with technology. It took me 13 months to figure out how to get the bluetooth to work in my car. But I did figure out to put a picture on my profile. HAHA.
  13. I agree Willie. Was just pointing out that Foreman may play even better this year than late last year. Either way, Tuesday can't get here soon enough.
  14. I agree almaman. I know what you mean with Foreman, but I have a hunch he may play better than we think. I'm not sure how close he was to 100% at any point last year. I just loved watching him getting the ball at the top of the key last year and just barreling to the basket. Was fun to watch. I also really like watching him at the top of that 1-3-1 trap zone, with his length. I'm not saying he will end up starting over Gordon or French, but i think he may take a big step forward too, just being healthy.
  15. I find it interesting that SI had Rhode Island ranked that high. Also find it interesting that they call our Bills a "dark horse in the A-10" despite being picked to win the league by A10 coaches and media.
  16. Hey guys, I think this is awesome for both conferences. Also, I know someone already posted that Albuquerque is nice. Santa Fe is maybe a 45 minute drive from there and is also beautiful. Side Note: Great News on Hankton and Jacobs.
  17. Billiken_Roy, his name is Bill Moulder. Was on the Kirkwood teams in the 70s that finished 2nd in State. If im not mistaken he was an All-State gaurd in high school. Not sure how good he was or even how much he played at SLU, but I know he was on the team. Really great guy. See him at games a lot.
  18. Hey guys, I ask this question only half-seriously, because I know we're gonna steamroll UMSL too. but what is the scouting report for the Tritons (sorry if it was posted already and I didn't see it.) The reason I ask is because I have a good buddy who's also a big Bills fan that I actually met during my Freshman year staying in Reinert Hall. Anyway, he joined the Marines ended up graduating from UMSL. Since the schedule came out hes repeatedly texted me, semi-sarcastically "Go Tritons!" Lol
  19. Yeah maybe it was UMass. I remember some sort of red.
  20. I'm sure he doesn't remember me (he might remember that camp though). I was also a ball boy for 1 of the games in the Larry Hughes season, but I can't remember which game for the life of me, wish I did. I remember I insisted that my 7th grade social studies teacher at North leave the Tv in our classroom on as we won that first round game (Maryland I think but could be wrong.) I had my parents buy me his And1 shoes on the day they came out.
  21. My favorite Billiken ever is Bill Moulder because he was my CYC coach growing up. Always talked about the "Larry Hughes Crossover." Best coach I've ever had in any sport. 1A would be Erwin Claggett. When I was just starting CYC ball, I went to a Highmark/Claggett basketball camp at North Kirkwood Middle School. They both wete incredibly nice guys but on one day, I won a game of knockout they played with all of us and I knocked Erwin out. After the game he came over and patted me on the head and said I was a really good player. Im sure he was just being nice and they were both taking it easy for us kids. But when it happened, I felt like I could beat Jordan. I'll always remember that. I hope everyone has a great season.
