I’m sure this is the justification they will go with, but I just laugh at the notion of these conferences or the NCAA making decisions for the betterment of the student athlete. It’s just farcical at this point.

I figured they were in the business of generating revenue, and I would guarantee you those games would do better ratings than some other primetime games (see Duquesne vs Fordham). I don’t expect them to reward us, I expect them to act in their best interest.

It’s actually a disgrace that ALL the Dayton and Loyola games are on weekdays. 1, maybe 2, fine. But all 4 is literally doing a disservice to the league

I will say, if the game was any other weekend (and not the weekend St Louis City was playing Sporting Kansas), I would have probably been in attendance with at least 3 other family members.

Woj is reporting the suns traded Cam Payne this morning to the Spurs. That basically leaves no natural point guard on the roster, which leads me to think J Good will have a great shot at some point guard minutes this season.

Phoenix will essentially have no money to sign any depth players of note due to NBA cap restrictions, so I have a hard time seeing a way in which Jordan doesn’t play meaningful minutes. As their roster sits now, Cam Payne (nothing more than a middling backup PG) is the only other primary ball handler on the roster. Plus, Jordan’s defensive versatility will be invaluable, as Beal/Booker are in no way lock down defenders on the perimeter.

Side note, SVB can’t be the nickname we settle on for him right? Too much negative energy with that acronym recently lol
