  1. Agree. Watson is definitely the better scorer. When i watched Thatch against Chaminade and Vashon he struggled when taller defenders guarded him. He plays hard tho and will fill the stat sheet as Pistol said.
  2. Someone told me last night he's in a walking boot. Sorry...didn't see the new posts
  3. Crazy expectations are what fans do. I think Mizzou...just like SLU...has added core pieces to be successful in the years to come. Both teams seem primed for a good season.
  4. Yeah, Liddell is a good kid. Was always big for his age but always worked hard. Good to see it paying off. I heard he is playing 17u this weekend with BBE down in ATL
  5. Do you know his other offers? Thanks in advance
  6. You can make a case for any of the above arguments. Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Steph Curry came from small schools but they all played for four years. Westbrook and Durant didn't have great tournament success. If you are going to college and planning on leaving after one year most kids srrm to be either staying close to home or going to a high major. Ben Simmons was the "man" on his team and his season didn't end to well. It didn't harm him tho because he was the best player in that draft. Let's take Duke for example...if Coach K and his whole coaching staff showed up at your door i would gather it would be hard to say no. The knowledge he has gained from coaching and picking the brains of the top Olympic players is invaluable. Add to that the tradition of the school and the national spotlight. Most one and done players aren't looking to just make the tournament they want to have a chance to win it. It's no different from the high level talent coming out of Chaminade. They didn't get a kid from Croatia and one from Canada because of their high academic standings. They, just like Jericho and Karrington are trying to follow in the tradition of Lee, Beal, Tatum.
  7. Bad fit, huh? Good info Pelican..thanks. Any word on where Pickett might be headed?
  8. Each EYBL teams get points off of their performance in EYBL play. Top teams qualify for Peach Jam. I believe you have to play in two EYBL sessions to be eligible to play in Peach Jam (if they make it that far).
  9. Lol. BBE are all about acquiring the best talent. If Gordon wanted to play there they would have welcomed him with open arms
  10. Not surprising about Gordon. He won Peach Jam playing with Mokan last summer. He wants to win it again. Team Penny must present him with the best opportunity to do so.
  11. Yeah. Goodwin is a beast. I saw him put up double digit rebounds last year in Indianapolis during the EYBL session.
  12. I believe the rule is in place to not give High school coaches the "unfair" advantage of being able to coach their players during the spring/summer. They have a dead period and only get to work with their kids during the month of June. Now, let's say Wiseman wanted to play for Sluh (a school he has visited) that would be ok because Claggs is not his High School coach, yet. The following year he would not be able to coach.
  13. I heard he is no longer with Gateway. That hasn't been confirmed tho. If anyone knows about it maybe they can speak on it. As for Leech...he played 16s last year and then got moved up to the 17s for BBE. He was going to leave last year that's why they moved him up to make him happy. I hear he had issues playing with some of the players and also wanted the ball in his hands more.
  14. High school coaches can coach. You just aren't allowed to coach players off your high school team. @3star_recruit...Reece time will definitively be cut. I tried to warn him tho. He should have played with TeamRamey instead.
