  1. Can anyone answer this for me? The under 16:00 media time out in the 2nd half, it seemed like the refs just blew their whistle for a stoppage of play after UMass scored? I'm 98% sure there wasn't a foul or anything, because they made the bucket and did not shoot the and-one. After the time out, we inbounded the ball as usual. What happened?
  2. If you're primarily interested in non-P5+BEAST CBB coverage, then I would say no, it isn't worth it. They do a weekly mid-major round up, and that's about the only inches of print dedicated to non-Gonzaga mid major talk. However, I'm a big MLB stats nerd, and I dabble in EPL and NHL, so the totality of coverage is worth the $30 annual membership I bought.
  3. Whichever one of you MBMs is the guy that keeps sending in SLU questions to the Athletic's mailbag, you're doing God's work. Seth just devoted multiple paragraphs to answering a question about Goodwin, and apparently called him for an interview over the weekend. Just wanted to say thanks to whomever you are.
  4. Dukes cratered in NET rankings after yesterday. 40 point drop to mid 60s. Below us. Richmond dropped as well but not as badly.
  5. Add on extra Jr.’s for every dunk. After Maryville he was T Hargrove Jr Jr Jr Jr Jr Jr
  6. We now need Kenpom to not only adjust for pace of play, but also for distance away from home school/alumni bases and fandom breakdown of the crowd
  7. Ah yes. The noble Toilet Rebellion of 2021 fighting against the evil water conservation overlords. "Give me 2L flushes, or give me death!"
  8. The spirit of Majerus carries Utah over Kentucky, a few decades too late. This probably is also good for our NET, because Tulane beat Utah
  9. Yeah I feel pretty confident they'll break 135 by the end of the season, just by virtue of playing the other ACC teams.
  10. https://extra.ncaa.org/solutions/rpi/SitePages/Home.aspx The daily updates to the Team Sheets are actually pretty nice. I retract my earlier complaint about the NCAA not updating their info enough. The Team Sheets breaks down the rest of every team's schedule into what Quad games they'll be playing, given that day's NET rankings. As of today, we'll play 7 Quad 1 games and 4 Quad 2 games the rest of the season.
  11. They were making some insane shots. I swear there was one that Jacobs got a hand on it, and his hand actually redirected the ball so it went in the hoop. Just one of those nights
  12. Have a feeling if it weren’t Maryville they’d be playing (minus thatch)
  13. Haven't we played them more recently than this? I thought I remembered a game a few years ago.
  14. Probably. SOS goes up for most of them once the conference starts. And, based on the rankings now, that'll actually be true for the A10 as well for once. At least the top half of the conference.
  15. Yeah I believe you're right. They must've mis-printed the PDF I'm looking at because it has our Quad 3 record as 3-1. But now that I look more carefully at it, our record broken down by Quads doesn't add up to 8-2, so I don't know what they're doing there. https://extra.ncaa.org/solutions/rpi/Stats Library/NET Nitty Gritty - Dec. 15, 2019.pdf
  16. I believe they actually have SH as a Quad 3 loss for us
  17. Unfortunately, both BC and Belmont are outside Quad 2 range at the moment. BC's at 143. So hopefully they'll win a game they aren't supposed to and move into top 135. Belmont's at 97 so they're going to have to do some work to get into top 75. KState's at 131.
  18. We have a ton of chances at Quad 1&2 wins
  19. This is great for us. I was expecting the 90s.
  20. Never mind the fact that in my dream the game was a combination of basketball and volleyball and took place underneath a hot air balloon. I still think it’s predictive
  21. Guys, I had a dream last night that Bills won by 4. The game's in the bag.
