I'm sorry but if Illini fans are underwhelmed by Underwood I really don't know what to say. The guy is a fantastic coach. His recruiting is the unknown, but he really is a tremendous X's and O's tactician.

What a turn of events that Ford is going to be directly competing for recruits against the guy who replaced him. Underwood is a fantastic coach from a technical standpoint. I don't support the school in the slightest, but to say Illinois hit a home run is an understatement.

My guess regarding Smith isn't really that interesting. My bet is he sees a logjam at guard over the next few years and is looking where he will get more PT. Not that he wouldn't play here, as he is extremely talented. It just seems like he would want to go somewhere with more time available. (I have no inside knowledge and this could be completelywrong)

Regarding Drew and the Illini, I've heard rumblings of it but don't really know how credible that is.

As a huge fan of the Bulls I certainly hope so. He belongs in college, and has appeared overmatched in the NBA.

For the record I'm just messing around. I don't think JTil is signing here either. My guess is he sticks with U of I.

U of I won't land Tony Bennett. While some of their fans might think that is a premier job, it doesn't compare to Virginia.

ESPN reporting it is a 7 year deal. Pretty optimistic considering he hasn't stayed in one place very long in the past.

Cuonzo can recruit, that is for sure. It will be interesting if his strategy is focused on St. Louis or is a national one.

All are self explanatory except for Grill Works, which is burgers and fries and a staple of other Aramark campuses. There is also general stuff for sale similar to when there was a small store in DeMatt.
