Understand the frustration. I think a lot of it was due to how quickly we changed the schedule. This year is a bit of an outlier.

I had to use the radio.com app. Not really worth explaining. It was mostly good. The app had some trouble here and there but the ESPN+ feed was solid

I'm testing out using the radio.com app for 1120 AM (Rammer and Earl) audio and ESPN+ for video. Radio.com gives you the ability to pause the live feed so I'm hoping I can sync it up fairly easily. Usually the video lags behind the radio.

I literally never used the word intentional. I just suggested the goal is for our guards to rebound as often as possible. We can push the pace of the game, utilize our depth by running a bit more, and minimize silly dribbling mistakes by our bigs. Not really worth the discussion anymore. NBA and college coaches stress this fairly regularly. This isn’t something new. If you have a better ball handler grab a rebound you can push the tempo faster? You don’t have to make a pass to a ball handler. It’s a super simple concept.

I disagree. I think it was the goal for our guards to rebound more so we can push the tempo better.

As someone who’s made multiple merchandise for a local business during the Pandemic, it hasn’t been super easy. Distributors closing. Printing and manufacturing having to shut down for quarantines. Would expect a D1 top 100 program should have better connections than my business. But hard nonetheless.

I’d rather just win every game we have now. I don’t think another cupcake actually helps much.

I remember doing the same thing hoping for some fancy app. Got to the instructions and got even more frustrated. Silly to think back on now.

I feel like I remember reading that he had a decent mid range game. But I don’t remember hearing anything about out to the arc. If he can come in and give us a legitimate post presence offensively and defensively while Has gets a break I think it’s an A+ signing. Mop up some fouls so we’re not in trouble. Grab some garbage buckets. Make a few post moves a game. Keep the offense moving when the ball hits his hands. I’m really excited to have an experienced and poised big man. Hope he turns out to be the player we hope

I think it’s important to remember that every recruit chooses a school for different reasons. I think Kern has a better chance to be an impact player at VCU sooner. We’re deep at the wing and he could think he doesn’t have a chance to get time until he’s a junior or senior.

Can probably get minutes quickly. Gets to play in St. Louis regularly. Hope he scores 25 every time we beat them by 30. Good luck to Nick

Well he has a day job and often gives us more info than our actual beat writer. I like the dude. He definitely gives us the best information available during a game via Twitter. I personally think if he stopped now we’d miss his reporting.

As someone who doesn’t have a TV package this would be great. I usually am borrowing others subscriptions for each game

I don’t think it’s what they expected. They just stated if we don’t improve offensively then that’s the floor. I doubt that will be the case, but crazier things have happened in NCAA basketball.

Stockard being at VCU definitely doesn’t help us out. Whatever Nick chooses I’ll be happy for him though!

I listened to this today and don't agree with some of your analysis honestly. I don't think the 3 bid league guys have given us our rightful respect but I disagree it was as bad as you are claiming. I didn't think they called Weaver a huge loss at all. I feel like they barely mentioned him. Fordham was 10th in the country in scoring defense last year so that's a valid point... Didn't think they ever advocated us to stop playing bully ball. I thought they mentioned us needing to score in more ways than just banging it inside. While I disagreed with their analysis of Perkins, they talked about him for quite awhile. Just because he wasn't mentioned in the first sentence doesn't mean they didn't talk about him enough. They meant if they don't improve on anything they'll finish fourth. Which I almost agree with. We won't win the A10 if our offense isn't better. That's a fact. Thatch hasn't shown enough to the rest of the A10 to say that he's anything but a defensive specialist. I can't wait for Fred to prove them wrong but they don't listen to every rumor about how good he's been in practice. That's just my take. I think they don't give us due credit, but let's just earn it instead.

It was a Sports Illustrated article. Who knows how much he said about each school versus what they actually printed. Not saying it’s bad journalism, but the hometown hero sounds better than printing a third “this is how they’ll use me” quote.
