Nice to see McCall get a couple of 3's to fall today. He also had a couple nice drives to the basket. Hopefully that gets his confidence going. We will need his offense badly come conference season. Congrats to him on his 1000th point.

Free throw shooting was definitely a problem. Valpo also got about 10,000 offensive rebounds in the second half alone. Glad we got the win though.

I mostly agree. I can see wanting to have Barnett out there for defensive matchups (especially with AM being 5'9"), however in my mind JB hasn't looked that strong defensively either. I recall him getting blown by a few times.

We lost to a good team. Nonetheless, Crews really needs to drill the team on how to attack a zone. Our lack of outside shooting will make teams want to throw a zone at us. Also, Wichita State got too many offensive rebounds. Our forwards often got caught not boxing out or jumping up with one hand. Barnett didn't play well but he is certainly not the only one to blame here.

The Auburn transfer isn't eligible until midseason. And the Houston transfer is redshirting this season. The Redhawks have some solid talent returning as well as some new guys coming in, and will definitely finish toward the top of the OVC...that being said, the Bills should take care of business.
