Not our money, but do we want to pay Gibby as much as we did last year? He would do amazing in Schertz offense but he was also pretty expensive. If so, Avila - Kent - Gibby - Combo Guard - Swope. Thats a PRPG of 15.4 and still have a player to add to that. This year the combined starting PRPG was 14. So unless the player to be added sucks, its still slightly better than last year.

ISU will play a team worse than the last 2 they've played to get to the finals. If they win that, they'll finish ranked higher than a handful of 6 seeds in the tourney on Kenpom.

Me thinks LHJ stays especially if its Schertz. Bruce while lacking skill, fits in perfectly with Schertz system. I also think Gibby comes back under Schertz, can you imagine Gibby with the passing of Avila (!). I'd also keep Thames and Crucic.

With that said, the buyout we put into the contract is what will determaine if we sink or swim for the most part. Thats the key in this whole thing. And once that core is gone, you do the same but with better players and so on until you get to the highest level. I just think that jump, plus with what you said, its a bad idea.
