NBA coaches are risky hires. More times than not it ends up being a bad hire. Stay away.

Theres a time when it makes sense to use some of your salary on NIL, and times it does not make sense. This is one of those times that does not make sense. It would have made sense to do it 2-3 years ago when a T25 team would have had p5 calling from all over to get him a bigger contract than what he had. Does not make sense to do it when it would cost him half a million if not more just to be relevant enough to MAYBE get one more year.

If you're a coach who isn't horrible at his job, you look at that and say I see his offense and I can teach him to defend. He is worth good money. You cant teach shooting.

Bright , no. Not even close. But Parker was better defensively not that it matters if the other 10 players don’t try either. But it was refreshing to see Parker score and 30 and try on defense. Again, not that it matters bc he’s showcasing his skills for a T10 team next year

I liked Parker’s defense tonight. A few lapse, but very active and causes issues. Him and LHJ were above average defenders. The rest, lol.
