  1. +2. We start all over again Oct. 15, better off because of this extra practice which exposed some of our improvement over the summer as well as the deficiencies we have. It will be a fun season.
  2. Throw in bus rides and a rafting experience in a foreign land, they have to be tired.
  3. M. Bonwich, je n'ai jamais google sur une plage si interessante que ca. Combien de choses est-ce que tu critiques, je me demande ? Les 5 jeunes filles qui regardaient de pres les Billikens parlent francais, je crois.
  4. Jimbo, you are amazing. Keep up the good work !
  5. Would like to see Rob Loe have a big game before we leave Canada.
  6. We won the offensive rebound battle, 17-4, and that sure helped. Wish our freethrow % had been better.
  7. RM will be on the radio tomorrow with Martin and Frank.
  8. Me too. Should I put another dollar in the computer ?
  9. I would also like someone who could rebound, no matter where he's from. Point guards seem easier to find. We always seem to lack muscle.
  10. Nice post, Sonoma Bob, I was a freshman at SLU while you were in Europe, enjoying the toasted ravioli at Garavelli's on Olive. We were lucky to be in our generation.
  11. Liked the references to the "68 Series. I was a sophomore at SLU then and was given two tickets to game 7, hoping that the Series lasted that long. What a sickening feeling when Flood slipped out in center. I think I had an upper deck box seat out in right field, ticket price $8.00 as I recall. Wish I had known St. Louis history a bit better then. Did Flood have a studio on the north side of Lindell, east of Grand ? That seems to ring a bell with me.
  12. Billikan -- great analysis and I agree with your thoughts. I still think that JB is such a fundamentally sound shooter that he's bound to contribute. We've certainly never had a collection of guards like these.
  13. Don't be overly concerned with JB yet. Let's see what he looks like after he gets some games under his belt with our most experienced players. He was warming up with Coach Whitesell yesterday before practice really started. Moving to various spots, shooting 3s, he must have hit close to 80%. A much better touch than KC. CE does not look like a starter at this point.
  14. BC is slimmer, looks improved to me around the basket. JB needs to eliminate the rust but will be a future zonebuster. KM and DE will give us many happy moments.
