no its not time to declare that! we are not the chicago cubs, we dont blame things on curses. this season hasn't even officially started. if all of the guys on the team are still remaining extremely optimistic about the season, we can too. i think a lot of you will be surprised at how well this season turns out for us

according to kwamains lawyer, he plans on accepting all of the punishments/guidelines that were given to him and he will return to play next semester

i know youre looking for better answers but from what i understand the decision was made by the student board sometime in the past few weeks. the 2 athletes then went thru the appeals process, SLU made that announcement today so it seems as if the suspension was the final decision after the appeal .

ive been thinking the same thing for a long time! a healthy eckerle is really going to contribute a lot to the team this year

all the people that are flippin out need to settle down. willie reed is 100% replaceable and quite frankly we would probably be better of without his attitude around kwamain is a little more valuable but we have some great guys in the freshman class that are really looking forward to step up their game even more to fill the void. caoches had already been talking about mike mccall as the new kwamain prior to this whole situation. hold onto your season tickets people, this season is still gonna be great yes they are only suspended for one semester. i hope that by the time they are allowed back on campus, people have come to see how amazing our team is without them anyway

Although I haven't heard much of Majok Majok, from what I have seen, it seems as if he is a little overrated. From what I have read, he is very sloppy when it comes to basic ball playing. If anyone is familiar with him, who would you compare his style of play with?

ok, to the people who keep posting these suggestions of starter, not a starter, transfer, 2 players, 4 players or whatever other thing you think you know - you need to stop. i could easily name names of who has been linked to this ongoing INVESTIGATION, but that would be extremely irresponsible due to the fact that we are dealing with something very serious involving the lives of these young people. even if you think you have "insider info" or are close to the situation, like i said earlier NO ONE knows the facts. it's ridiculous that this story came out yesterday and i've already heard countless rumors that keep adding nonsensical information to them. these are peoples lives we are dealing with and whether anyone is guilty or not, rumors unfortunately have the tendency to stick with peoples names. i overheard someone on campus saying "as a SLU student and billiken fan, I have the right to know what happened." the only thing you are entitled to know at this point, is what SLU emailed to its students: someone filed a report that they were assaulted on campus and SUSPECTS were in custody. that is all that is known for sure at this point and further speculation and allegations aren't going to get us anywhere.

i would also like to add that the removal of certain players facebook pages has nothing to do with anything that is being discussed on this board, that i am 100% sure of

thanks boudder and brianstl thats really not helping. people keep adding what they're hearing from unreliable sources and rumors keep being created. this is a very serious accusation and regardless of what people think they know, no one has all of the facts at this point. everyone needs to stop making guesses as to who was involved and just wait until the whole truth comes out.

all of the news channels said it was a student-athlete dorm, but grand forest is not just for athletes, there are a lot of non student athletes that live in those apartments. people need to stop making assumptions until all of the facts are known
