100%. Ford’s greatest asset has been rendered moot by NIL. He was a great recruiter until the “bad” recruiters were able to throw out $$ and get kids to sign. If we aren’t going to be competitive with NIL then we need an X & O’s coach to recruit under-the-radar kids who fit a system a la Majerus. Ford’s advantage of out-recruiting the rest of the conference and then rolling the ball out (not super successive in itself!) is over. In order to get a quality or known HC to replace him, I’m assuming that candidate would want assurances we’re going to step it up in the NIL dept. I’m sure I can talk myself into the program turning around under the next HC, no matter who it is, but things are pretty bleak right now

Your Medley thing is weird. He was a 3-star recruit and top 50 PG out of HS. He’s listed at 5’11”. He’s a pass-first PG who has played 6 college games

Amateur scouting report from my cousin here: They lightened up on non-conference schedule a wee bit. This game is huge (vs. CoC). Already blew out Merrimack who won their conference last year. Transfer Shamir Bogues from Tarelton State is a premier defensive player. Aaron Deloney two-time conference 6th man of the year — entered portal and came back. He’s a star. And a half-dozen other good players. Lots of Canadiens. Experienced and well-coached like always.
