It is not that the Bills lost they got the crap beat out of them away from Chaifetz which was an issue last season that did not get fixed. I pointed out yesterday that for 3 seasons Majerus’s team never looked that way away from home and 2 or those years the coach was Crews. Coach Ford can recruit, win at home, has brought a lot of excitement high expectations of this program and have the team in the running each season for the A10 title and that is great. But defending the 3 point shot and the team falling apart away from home is still a problem.

For a chance of an at large and to ease the pain of yesterdays no show this is a must win game. Come on experienced guys get it done.

Fair enough were down almost 30 gave up 95 and were not in the game for 30 of the 40 minutes. I do not think that Majerus’s last season or the 2 following seasons under that coach did a Billikens team lose this bad. Losing for me is not the issue not being in the game is. I will sing a different tune tomorrow if we win tomorrow and they better get it done.

I think most think he is a good recruiter and has the team each year in position to win the A10. When I say no excuses each game is about the coach no excuses why he cannot get this team to the tournament and win these games. This team has 2 elite players and a good supporting cast play like it.

51 points coach Ford nice defensive coaching and great sportsmanship, Okoro got fouled but your team has already lost the day. Play the freshmen sit the starters and make a statement and move on.

Horrible offensive start

I looked at ESPN + and SLU / Maryland is listed. On dish the game is on 142 ESPN news

SLU will have to pick up the slack and win to bring up the A10 and as you pointed out because the conference is not performing well so quality wins are going to have to come by the non conference schedule so today is a good day to get another quality win. No excuses win today.

The wife and I are up now and we are ready. No excuses our team should win we have the best point guard in the country Collins, and the best 3 point shooter to, surrounded by a strong center another elite shooter finding his way back from injury and a steady experience sneaky good forward/guard that played 4 years in the SEC. A bench with another elite scorer, a strong bully guard, an experienced big man that gives us quality minutes when Okoro sits and a local energetic pogo stick that can jump out of the gym. Keep the turnovers under 10 and they win.

Both of your posts are outstanding you back your opinions with facts and you reminded me of some great point guards in the past that played for the Billikens. I was mad at Yuri because of what went down in the offseason put he reeled me right back in to being a big fan of an area kid playing for SLU. SLU has a lot of play makers such as Jimerson, Perkins, Parker and Pickett so in the last seconds to win the game anyone of the 5 would be fine I do not want it to be just Yuri as the only choice.
