I’m taking the Bills +4.5 on FanDuel. I think they pull this one out. (this is not an endorsement of Travis Ford or Chris May)

I was just happy I didn’t want to turn it off at halftime. I look forward to these games all week long and it kills me to be an angry mess by Halftime. Being the glutton for punishment I am I can’t bring myself to turn it off. I want May and Ford gone but I’m going to try and enjoy any small victory I can this year. We are officially at rock bottom.

It’s possible to think they played much better and still want May and Ford gone. I’m pretty sure 95% of posters complimenting the play against Drake feel this way.

I am happy with their play last night compared to other games but that doesn’t mean I am encouraged. This team is awful. Ford needs to go. There needs to be a major overall when it comes to the basketball program. All that said I am still going to watch every game. people know where I stand on Ford. So if I see things that I like about a game I’m not going to pretend I don’t just because I want Ford gone. Being happy about how a crappy team played does not mean you are happy with the program.

Did not hear the post game. Was Ford critical of SVB and Bruce? It thought they played well.

I think at one point Crews knew how to coach. The problem was that he didn’t want to coach anymore when he was here. He retired the day he was appointed. Just sat back and collected a paycheck. I’ll put him ahead of Ford in knowledge of the game. Behind Ford in effort.

Nah. I was expecting to turn it off at halftime. They have 8 guys 5 healthy guys and 4 of them are freshman. Plus they have shown they aren’t a very good team. They showed well tonight. I’ll take a game and effort like this every night. Play like this and they will win some games. (in no way is this an endorsement of Ford. He needs to go.)

Well that’s disappointing but I’m proud of the team. They played hard just ran out of gas.

I get nervous every time SVB goes to set a screen and every time Dalger touches the ball.

I missed that. They were calling Van Bussel a freshman and saying Zhang was from China the entire first half. I think they have been really good.

They need to make sure they have the “Fred Thatch anti cramping pickles” ready to go at half.

I made it all the way until the end. Not sure why. Blues start at 8 so we will see how it goes tonight.

It sucks. I still schedule my nights around watching the game but I do it knowing I’m going to be disappointed by halftime. Alarm goes off to early to drink these games tolerable.

No but we could use one on the bench.

It’s like he doesn’t realize 10 dollars from 100 people spends the same way as 1000 dollars from 1 person.

I think an even bigger problem is that there are no serviceable Juniors on the team. There are literally no third year players on the team. Thats the group who should be stepping up this year with Hargrove and Jimerson. We can complain about the poor coaching but the lack of third year players is a recruiting problem. Shows me Ford can’t coach or recruit.

One last post on this disaster. this was more than bad coaching, lack of talent, lack of size, and bad luck. This was a coaching staff who completely lost the team and a team that has lost faith in the staff and each other. Unless something drastic changes this team will go into every game expecting to get curbed stomped. This team now believes they are worse than they actually are. Confidence in themselves and the staff is gone.

The most amazing thing to me is that Ford has some how managed to win 450+ games. He’s 53 years ol. Some poor school will hire him when he is gone from here. He probably has 10 more years. That means he will end up with over 600 career wins. After watching him for 8 years that is just mind blowing. it also tells me that if Ford can get to 600 most of the MBMs posting could get to 200 or so.

This type of loss makes me wonder how good those Goodwin French teams could have been if they would have had any type of leadership and coaching.
