I think a lot of fans are so wrapped up in getting to the dance they dont enjoy the season. I for one really enjoyed watching this years team and seeing the coaching job of tf.

cuonzo can coach, so even without the porters mizzou will be ok. might take a a bit of a dip, depends on who he can get to replace them. lots of transfers out there
-
Brad did not notice that josh harrellson was a player and he was in his backyard. not a sniff of interest. i got that right from josh himself
-
Bucknell had to play five on eight, likely were going to lose anyway but the zebras made it certain and got their best player out of the game
-
I think tf recruits well enough that we do not need to stash players as redshirts, bring them in and play them he will keep recruiting done the road
-
Possibly someone would really want a graduate degree from Slu. not entirely out of the realm of possibility.lol

thanks to pistol for taking the time to this, i enjoyed the reads all season

If TF brings in a shooter or two, i don't see the bills lower than 3rd. I think jj adds a bit of an inside game and he will be a force off the bench

I watched nearly every game highmark played and i dont think anyone would say he was a great athlete, but he would have looked great on this years team as when he shot the ball it went in the basket
-
I think we forget sometime that athleticism is desirable but the ball still needs to go in the basket. Sekue was a great athlete who couldnt ball

I think pearson will be the absolute steal of the class. I see him at the top of that one three one zone and hitting deep threes. buy your dance tickets now

I grew up a missouri football, but never cared for their bb team. I have been slu fan since the bob polk and harry rogers days. season ticket holder for years before i move away from st louis. still have this split loyalty

Punishment should be meted out after the verdict comes in,not before. If these guys are so dangerous that cannot be on the basketball floor they should be off campus now.otherwise let them play and if found guilty then dish out the punishment.

during the spoonball days there was no football so there was more sport spectator money available. the teams were entertaining and spoon was a good interview. spoon also didnt recruit well and left the cupboard bare so there was no follow up to the spoonball era

grawer is in the billiken hall of fame. the biggest mistake in firing grawer was you lost contact with local recruiting. How many of th thames carrawells etc would grawer have brought in that spoon couldnt.
-
1. 1971 louisville game cant remember year, douglas and gray team beat evansville scored about 50 in second half
-
pd has a long history of ignoring or belittling slu bb. if you recall the run in nit under grawer horrigan wrote a piece explaining why it didnt matter and only made slu the 66th best team, when he should have praised grawer for bringing team out of the trash heap
-
you are right spoon missed on those guys, might point is that grawer may have got them whereas spoon could not. spoon was a very lazy recruiter. bringing in the likes of berentine etc.
-
locals should be what we are after, rich grawer was getting the local kids to stay and he got fired whe then missed on the likes, white, robertson, thames, woods, carrawell. they would hve made an impressive lineup.

Frank is very reliable with his info. Being in on ej doesnt mean he will be a billiken, but we have a chance.
