I said right in my post it didn't excuse Brad. It was a sign that the program was backward for a long time. Maybe you should have flew your idea by RM in the contract negotiations. I don't think RM would have gone for that. In a program that wants to be big time, you have to act big time. We are finally starting to act like that.

Is Frank C. Frank talked about how Dick Versace works for Chaifetz's NBA interest. How Dick was the one setting up the meeting in Chicago between RM and Chaifetz that "supposedly" didn't happen because of a scheduling conflict. I will take Frank C's word on that any day. You don't have to take my word for it.

That Wiley and Versace are friends and that he talked to both him and Majerus.. But, to think he had anything to do with this hiring is foolish. Wiley might think that, but I highly doubt it. Versace is on Chaifetz's payroll, literally. He works for Chaifetz when it comes to Chaifetz's interest in purchasing an NBA team. Chaifetz name is on the new arena, because he donated millions to the project. Biondi and Chaifetz both knew of Mejerus interest long before Joe Wiley.

And it is all second hand, so take it how ever you want to. A lot of these guys felt left out and not appreciated. They felt that Brad would rather take a lesser player from out of the area, because Brad would think the kid was better just because he was from outside the area. This left them feeling that their programs were not being appreciated for how good they actually were. Brad didn't really talk to them much and he never really asked them for their thoughts. It all started right after Brad first got the head coaching job. It only got worse and more wide spread each ensuing year. I have heard nothing on why Kramer isn't playing.

I wasn't saying he has had a ton of good QBs, I just remember reading an article where they talked about his summer QB camp and it said that the QB at Teaxas and Troy Smith had both attended it. It talked about kids from all over the country going to it. It also gave him the credit for the current spread offense many teams run.

JJRAY I think I fall in to your camp. I put the chances at about 50/50. Somethings will have to break are way, but I think last year's team should have been much better. It all will depend on what Eberhardt and Relphorde bring to ultimately bring to the table.

I believe they have luxury boxes too. I think the coach is credited with perfecting the spread offense run by Mizzou and many other college programs. He used two have one of the biggest quarter back camps in the country when he was running Southlake. QBs from all over the country would attend. Chase Daniel the MU QB is a Southlake grad.
