  1. People give V trouble because among many things he takes himself to seriously on here. He also at one point or another will say that half of all the kids playing high school ball in the area deserve an offer from SLU. This allows him to claim he was the first to say it. Well when you name every kid on a every roster, you are bound to get a few right along the way. He also has a hard time admitting when he is wrong. He still won't admit that Reed is not from the St. Louis area. Now making the claim that KC and its suburbs are part of the St. Louis area.
  2. "Last Updated Date/Time" on the Main Board page. That will correct it for you.
  3. Now on the Blues? I think I heard the Blues got him from Boston.
  4. A tournament team next year but they will be better. They add Carroll and it is year two in the system. I think the Big 12 overall will be stronger and that will effect where they finish in the Big 12. The Big 12 was a very average conference last year.
  5. Are two pretty good players. They will be better.
  6. As a matter of fact I think you are right about Powell and you know that becuase I have been talking him up since I have been on here. I got your list which at one poinnt I believe you had 31 players on who needed to get offers stored some where. Give me a little bit and I will post it. I need to find it first. If the under performing and dog of a player Doss ends up at SLU, I will publicly demand that someone check Majerus's medications.
  7. V when you name half the players playing local high school basketball you are bound to hit on a couple. Why don't you remind everybody how you were talking up Aubrey Doss for over a year or any of the other players you were wrong about.
  8. I would like to find a good Juco point guard for the 2009-2010 season. Somebody that could take some of the pressure off KL and TL, while allowing time for KM to adjust to the college game.
  9. It is all in good fun. If you guys land Suggs you know you will rub it in and we will do the same if we land him. I think we pulled back our offer to Relaford. Just kidding.
  10. The third offer to be pulled if two out of that group commit. Depending on how RM feels the scene looks with other recruits two offers could be pulled after one commits. I believe this maybe a first come first served situation.
  11. to watch his progress, and you really want him to be a Billiken when that time comes. I got a problem with a kid getting the scholarship offer when he hasn't even started taking high school classes yet. Maybe I am behind the times on this, but I just don't like it
  12. Extolls the other great virtues of the thug life. Way to go Leo Lyons. What the hell is going on down at the university supported by my tax dollars? I wouldn't be comfortable sending any kid of mine into that kind of enviroment. http://www.myspace.com/6slashp
  13. He has a lot of spots to fill right now, if to much of the focus goes to Suggs he could end up losing multiple kids for those other spots and still lose out on Suggs. He can't risk just focusing on Suggs. Rickma is in a for better position to really go after Scott and convince him that SLU is the place for him. That is the big advantage of locking up the three kids we did. RM and the staff can now be selective and really throw everything they have after their true top targets.
  14. That wasn't flunking out of the University of Deleware or had their offer to SLU pulled? http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=19&p=2&c=653049 Young Mr. Suggs have you noticed nobody wants to go there? SLU is the hot ticket in area hoops.
  15. That is one line I have drawn and will not cross.
  16. If it wasn't DJ running it. That scum bag isn't getting near any of my money, much less having me hand it over to him.
  17. I give you trouble, but I respect yours too.
  18. "It shocked me," Mike Boatwright said of the offer. "But Ryan loved it there and he decided on his own." Shocked you, no kidding. You think this is a decision an eighth grader should make on his own? "I'm tremendously concerned," he admitted. "It could get ugly as far as kids getting jealous. I also don't want it to get to his head. I want him to stay humble." It doesn't really sound like he is worried about him staying humble to me.
  19. Of 8th graders! Maybe it shouldn't borther me like it does, but this kind of stuff just doesn't sit right with me. http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/6938958...HPHCP&GT1=10136
  20. To decide. The only way you give that spot up is if you sign another top 50 player. That is the only way you give it up. The great thing about RM signing three players is the staff can afford to be a little picky.
  21. How about we at least try to get Suggs before we wrap up this class? I think that would be a good idea.
