Step 1, get the commitment Step 2, get him signed early signing period in November Step 3, get him on campus late Summer If he "blows up" this HS/Prep season, the bigs boys will be coming to take him. So, it's a long way to go, but good start. Always worry about those recruits from far-away places.

I do not know the detailed arguments of Brad's case. I suspect you don't either. So I await a decision from the NCAA as I can't predict the future.
-
I have seen nothing yet from the NCAA deciding on his eligibility. Has a decision come down from the NCAA????
-
Already casting Bradley Ezewiro aside? It's not over until it's over. My starting 5 Jimerson, Meadows, Ezewiro, Dalger, Hargrove
-
Well, they better be quick. Because that is one short line-up.
-
Boy, the NCAA is taking its sweet time on deciding if Bradley Ezewiro plays or sits. Has to be tough on the player, the first exhibition game is just 2 weeks away.
-
No worst than 6th, mark it down!

Now if a certain transfer center from Georgetown gets approved; ok not likely ..... then where does SLU finish?
-
One transfer seems fair to me. More than that, and college sports become pure chaos IMO. Kind of excited to see the frosh big men and what they can do. Didn't seem to hurt the Majaris team that went to 3 straight NCAA's after being forced to play freshmen the year Mitchell and Reed couldn't play.
-
None of them. But except for maybe a dozen teams, you can say that about all the 358 D1 college basketball teams IMO. And the dozen teams I want to see change because I have no fan interest in those teams; it's that special player or players I want to see, not the teams on the screen.
-
Last we saw he was in a "boot" about a month ago. So ...... ???
-
Better .... is an NCAA bid. Last year's team fell well short in that regard.
-
Only way the Bills are better is if one or two of the Big International guys plays like a high 4 star recruit and Ezewiro is eligible. Plus Jimerson has to be improved, Parker becomes "the old Perkins" and Hughes and at least one other player like Thames steps up big on D.
-
Well this year's team has 7 transfers into St. John's. Iona only had 2 last year and think they were rotation guys but not starters.
-
Seemed to do okay at Mizzou last year. Also Arkansas, Texas Tech, WVU , Murray State ..... and of course St. Peter's. But there are others.
-
Improving the 3 point defense is imperative ..... it was damn horrible last year. Perhaps taller guards like Hughes will help. But the opposing teams were either wide open too often, or in the case of vertically challenged Collins .... just shot over him
-
The overwhelming number of student-athletes can sign a contract ..... "In all states, the age requirement to sign a contract is 18 years of age. A child under the age of 18 is considered a minor and is unable to sign a contract unless it is for essential items".
-
Companies write contracts to spell out terms. If I were contracting with a college athlete for his NIL, I'd have the contract say the player must be a member of the team ..... duh.
-
Kind of sounds like Ezewiro's case .... expecting a no. https://westvirginia.rivals.com/news/what-s-next-for-west-virginia-after-silverio-waiver-denial-https://wvmetronews.com/2023/08/10/silverios-waiver-request-denied-by-ncaa/

Well ..... who plays, who's in the rotation? Seems once you get past Jimerson, Parker, Hughes, Hargrove and maybe Dalger and Meadows .... it's pure unadulterated speculation. But assuming Ezewiro is out the year both Zhang and van Bussel play. If Magassa is closer to 6'9" than 6'6" (who knows?) then he's in the mix for minutes as the " big" on the floor. Thames seems to be somewhat of a mystery. Is he a 2 guard as Ford hinted at last pre-season or has he "grown" into the small forward/guard to back up Jimerson and perhaps Hargrove? PLEASE don't have Hargrove as a 4, he can't do it. Got to have a backup point guard. So seems Medley and perhaps Curcic compete for those minutes unless a committee of Parker, Thames and Meadows can handle the point. Doubt that though. Medley likely the guy.
-
Given this article I have little or no hope that Ezewiro qualifies to play this season ...... https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10085687-ncaa-to-apply-stricter-rules-for-2-time-transfers-to-gain-immediate-eligibility
-
Well if anything, the season should be interesting watching the young bigs try to handle the center/big position on the team. Great opportunity for the young guys. Hopefully one or two step up big-time.
-
2 time transfer??? So now SLU have 2 key players who might have to sit a year, right? Or is he a grad transfer?
-
Seems a bunch of these teams will find out what it's like NOT being the top dog. Is Oklahoma going to own the SEC? Is USC now an also ran? Will Texas ever be a dominate force again? I guess they will get more money ..... but winning has just become a hell of a lot tougher for most of these teams. "Be careful what you wish for".
-
LOL. Promise? Doubt you have anything but heresay that he ever promised/committed to SLU. Again, who said he promised? If it wasn't a SLU coach, it's heresay ....... (information received from other people that one cannot adequately substantiate; rumor).
