Totally didn't think about that angle when it was discussed. We need more southern teams in the A-10. Most destinations are bitter cold to watch a Billiken conference road game.
Booooooooooo. Programs closer to SLU >

This team plays to fuoking win, not to avoid losing. Ridiculously aggressive from Martinez.

Calhoun is getting embarrassed by Wiscy’s point guard.
Well it is a big ten point guard. I'm not seeing that, but if so, okay.

Don't breathe on a Badger, it's a technical .

Well, there is the plastic ice made out of melted grocery bags that the Blues are putting in Enterprise center to save costs. I heard that earlier today.
I mean the Stu tweet would have been well done if it was a bragging rights tweet. IU backing out of Bragging Rights to put SLU on the schedule would have made sense.

Except like it's not well thought out besides Barge Madness. SLU and Mizzou are on the west side of the river. Why would fans be on both sides of the river.

-if the above is accurate it will be interesting to see which program is in better shape in the near future, SMSU or (hate the) Drake
It's accurate. And Drake.

I'm not real savvy when it comes to PPV, but I just clicked on BTN+ (from our women's schedule). A count down timer comes up. I then dug a bit deeper to see how to pay/view the game and it shows up as FREE. Clicking on the free box, and the countdown timer comes up again.
So I think all we have to do at game time is click on the BTN+ button.
Oh interesting. Hopefully it is indeed free

It seems to me like this board thinks he's a good source when we like what he is saying and thinks he is not a good source when we don't.
I would very much like it if JS brought 5 players. I don’t think that’s feasible. It’s not wether I like what he’s saying. It’s wether or not I think he’s correct.

He has nothing to gain by lying to me in a private twitter message about a phone call he had with Schertz. This isn't the same thing as him pushing Ahearn or being buddies with Ford. He didn't say it was a lock, only that Schertz told him that he expected his starting five to follow. Again, could SLU get "outbid"... sure. But the ISU guys received little to no NIL money this year. I would have to think Schertz would know roughly what it would take to get his guys to follow him and made sure the NIL funding would be there for anyone he wanted to bring with him.
Besides making himself look like he knows some .

Correct. That's why I haven't spoken in absolutes about it. Cusamano told me that Schertz told him that he expected his starting five to follow him. Trilly told me in a discord chat that Avila is a near-lock and that industry speculation is that Schertz is taking his team with him. My two cents, I have to assume NIL allotment was a big part of any discussion prior to him taking the job. Especially because he's coming from such a limited resource situation. For Schertz to tell Frank that he thought his starting five would follow, he must've received some assurances of the annual NIL picture and feels that he could work within it. I also think some of his guys are probably more valuable in his system as opposed to another coach's offensive framework.
Cusumano is not a good source.

Irons has no influence on who comes to SLU. His time is passed.
Worth a double post tbh.

This a problem we have here - we tend to eat our young. It is hard to be successful when you got people in the community looking out for their own situation or want some type of retribution for what you perceive has been a slight to you. Not sure what kind of influence Irons still has but you can bet he will be telling local players not to come here.
These old dudes like Irons, Cusumano, Slaten, Mr. Ahearn et al need to check themselves. From what I understand this is history repeating itself. A bunch of "influential St. Louisans" telling us all how dumb we are for not wanting Blake Ahearn as coach and then are beside themselves when everyone is sick of the dude(who did nothing wrong).

Does anyone know the easiest way to watch the women's game this evening?
It says it is on BTN+. Can I watch that if I have an ESPN plus subscription?
Thanks for the help.
Oh fuok. This is worst case scenario. Likely will have to pay per view.

Isn't TJ gone - used his eligibility up?
The question was would Schertz have been able to run his offense with our personnel

I'm enjoying the photographic proof.
I got an old Gorpro I can donate and probably some Cat5 cable too. But there's this new thing wifi they could use . They should get the AV Club on this
Honestly they had issues with the camera all weekend and it wasn’t there today. I believe them on this one, but they should have better infrastructure for broadcasts.

Apparently the camera in the photo is the team camera.

I’m surprised the Go Pro mount cost the university $10. I assumed it was just something they rummaged out of the lost and found.
Yeah this is the kinda thing you get in a kit that’s 20 bucks. It’s likely worth $2.50

More programs closer to the financial powers of the conference. SLU/Dayton/LUC. 3 of the 4 top spenders in the league are in the Midwest. Give me a Tennessee or Kentucky school.
