Like I said- I think we'll both be there. I'd love to say that we'd get to play eachother, but I feel like it'd have to be a first round game, because neither of us would get a great seed, and neither of us are particularly excellent away from home.

I think- right now- that mizzou and SLU have roughly the same chance of making the tourney. for me, I think they both have a reasonably good chance at making it, because I like to be optimistic about my hometown teams. I think SLU will be the 4th team from conference USA, and Mizzou can pull off 4th or 5th from the big 12, especially the way we've been playing of late.

I believe our road win over oklahoma fills both "good road win" and "top 20 team." Thanks though. We have the 10th ranked schedule in the country (depending on where you look) and you guys have the 150th or so (also depending on where you look.)

I'll take a road win over Oklahoma over a road win over dayton.

Yes, and SLU lost to West Virginia. I'd say we worry about SLU making the tourney before we criticize anybody else for either not making it or having a bad seed.

this is 04 I don't think it's too uncommon for people to have stress-related health issues. His grieving has possibly led to prolonged stress.

it's not sorted by average rpi, it's sorted by average non-conference rpi.

big 12 is listed 8th, but there average rpi is ranked 4th, as per the perenthensis after the average rpi stat. It would appear as though you sorted it by OOC RPI.

But those games weren't necessarily gimmes. Like you said, we almost lost to Eastern Kentucky. Were that the case, would you rather have lost to them, or a better team?

I think it's totally fair to get on him for the early season schedule. If Brad really has such high expectations for this team, then he should have been able to believe that they could have beaten a team in the top 200 rpi. And as far as almost potentially losing a game to a 200-250 rpi team: we could have lost to one of those "patsies" as well. Any team can lose, at any day, home or road. Look at Kansas vs. Richmond/Nevada, Missouri vs. Belmont, and North Carolina vs. Florida State. I think if brad expects this team to be a contender, it's not unfair to think that he should expect them to be competitive without reggie.

Even if there are sanctions, they're not likely to be anything like a 2-3 year postseason ban, and kalen and jimmy are not likely to end up at SLU, nor anywhere else.

Anyone with the staunch defense of SLU? If not, I think Blake's gonna have a hard time getting anything going on saturday. Even if they have I think he'll have a hard time getting anything going.
