What an idiot SLU women's basketball will host a coaching clinic on Saturday, October 29 @ Saint Louis University High School. The clinic will include on-court demonstartions, as well as a women's team practice under the direction of their new head coach, Shimmy Gray. Clinic will be as follows from 9:00am to 11:00am: Marlene Stollings (SLU Asst. who played at Ohio State and is all-time leading scorer in Ohio H.S. history, men or women) - Guard Shooting Workout; Shimmy Gray (developed 3 all-americans in the PAC-10 as an assistant at Arizona and Washington) - Post Player Development: Gary Glasscock (guided Metro H.S. to Missouri Class 2A runner-up finish in 2005) - transition offense: Jay Harrington (Head Men's Coach at Southwestern Illinois Community College. Is probably Pizzottis idea. SHe was the worst coachever, her turnover in staff and her dress attire, she also was a *****. The only reason she stayed 10 years was because her boy Tucci and Woolard were buddies but you saw what happen once woolard left she got canned, but I do not feel too bad for her, she still had 2 years left on her contract where she wil receive $160,000 fo rthe next 2years. I know all, I use to work in the Athletic Department last year and I still know coaches and people that work at SLU.

My question is, when is the arena going to be built? It should have been built by now, two yers ago they said it should be built. Lets see, Father Biondi is not putting the coaches offices over in the new building, so why have a arena if the coaches offices are not even being built over there. What do you say to a recruit, when he or she comes for a visit and your offices are as big as the NAIA school down the road. 2. Why does the administration drive nicer car's than the coaches. At Ohio State they are driving Explorers, Navigators and here the assistant are driving malibus, and ford focuses. What do you say when you pick up a recruit in a Malibu. 3. Then why did Father Biondi take the cell phones away from the men's basketball and women's basketball staff's. Obivously he doesn't think coaches need cell phones. How do you recruit when you are driving and want to call a recruit. Both programs have cell phones but now they have to pay out of their own pocket. Hell, my friend who is an assistant coach at McKendree has a cel phone and the school pays for it. How do we expect the coaches to do a great job recruiting when our president won't even pay for their cell phones? These are the questions we should ask at our next Billiken Club meeting! On a better not I met Shimmy Gray the other day and she is a real nice person and seems to know how to hold a conversationand she even talked to my daughter. Unlike Pizzotti, who never cared about anything but herself.

Roy, the billiken's are never going to the Final 4, but we can keep on wishing!

Don't forget the time he pulled his USBL skyhawks off the floor last summer because the ref's were not being fair. IF he can't coach semi-pro ball, then he can not coach college.

From my sources she is hard to work for and when you fire two people that knew the program very, doesn;t give much hope to the athletic department.

Shimmy has kept one of Jill's assistant coaches for her staff. Looks like she is taking no time to rest. Hopefully she will put together a great staff.

I hear that they are looking at a player or two, but that Brad is keeping a very tight lid on who they want. Maybe they don't want to jinx it by leaking word.
