This is difficult just listenting to the feed. Rammer's complaining almost on every play that LS is getting away with walks, while we're getting screwed with hooks on BC and moving screen by RL. Damn, why can't we ever get on TV!

This conference has really been tough from top to bottom this year. I sure hope the committee recognizes that, but probably won't. Temple losing could work against us. Not saying we have to win the tourney, would be nice, but if someone other than us does it, I'm concerned they'll discount us. Probably worried about nothing, but until I see our name in a bracket on Sunday, it's gonna be a tense and stressful weekend. C'mon, Bills, just beat La Salle.

KY, UNC, UK et al can eat my shorts. If you identify w/ them you're really on the wrong board. They are not college BB. They are minor leagues for the NBA. I would hope we'd never become that. We have true student athletes. Calipari, Williams, Self have pampered future pros playing for free and earning their schools big money while they are risking injuries that could cost them millions. And all their respective "Universities" will give them is a "hey we're sorry". It's pure exploitation, but the entourages of these kids welcome it because it's a little more exposure on the national stage in the hopes for a big payday after their 6 or 7 months of being student athletes is finally over. Here you go, Mikey, 12 hours of BS courses to get to your 2.0. Second semester? What're you kidding, you're home free. Go out and win us a national championship. It's a total joke. Sure, KY is a fun place to watch a game with 25,000 screaming hill jacks who don't give one hoot about what happens to their players after they're replaced by next year's crop of Mickey D 5 stars. Those kids who play in the McD all star game and any other high profile stud should be given a choice. You want to go and play for UK? Great, you're here for 3 years or you can enter the NBA draft right after the game's over or you graduate HS. If you don't finish the 3 years, tough. Find something to do for the next 2 years, because you won't be drawing an NBA check. Go play in the East BF Egypt Revolutionary League for all we care. Comparing us to how much fun you had in Lexington watching triple A ball just cost you some points as far as I'm concerned.

Look, BD, no one wants that more than any of us on here. You're relatively new. A lot of us have been here for more than 10 years. Broy, longer than most. A lot longer. We've suffered thru all the disappointing seasons. And most of us support RM. RM is a winner and a hell of a coach. And he's clean. The guy's whole life is hoops. In fact, I think he's rededicated himself to SLU's rebirth, or emergence, as a national power because of his mother's death. He's really got nothing else. SLU suddenly has become his family. We're lucky to have him. We will win. We will be a name in college hoops. I don't understand Broy's resentment or cutting remark about a thread in which RM wanted BC to get some hometown love.

Broy, I believe you. Most others on here don't. But you've got to admit you always sound negative about him.
