  1. I don't have any new info but it certianly doesn't surprise me.
  2. Taj, I don't believe that Dayton and Xavier are very happy with the A10.
  3. I wish we would have kept our program alive and well from the early 1900's, as far as starting anew today...IMPOSSIBLE! I have read the dreamers on the Marquette board posting that their are plans of them starting a football program...Their chances are as good as ours. We should all just forget about having our own teams and root for Notre Dame!
  4. Or more importantly, which one are you?
  5. Has also contacted the A10 for information on Xavier and Dayton.
  6. I read somewhere that the only reason DePaul and Marquette were thrown into the mix was to give the Big East basketball schols options in case of the divorce...Who knows what is going to happen at this point?
  7. Whether he comes to SLU or not, I sure hope Kalen Grimes is re-thinking his decision...Don't you think he has to be?
  8. Thanks for the info Roy...Where can I pick up a copy of the unofficial guide? I am hoping that next year my daughter will go on everything with me!
  9. We almost did Typhoon Lagoon for that very reason but heard that Blizzard Beach was better for the kids...I hope to do both next year.
  10. I agree Universal/Islands of Adventure are awesome, we had a 5 day pass to both and enjoyed all 5 days. I am sorry to say that we did not do Spiderman, we always seemed to make it to that side of the park late in the day after the fast pass distribution was over and we didn't feel like waiting 1 hour + in line. We had no idea that it was that good, I will be sure to hit it next year! Roy, as far as the big vertical slide at Blizzard Beach (I have an 8 year old and a 2 year old), I couldn't talk my 8 year old into waiting in line with me. I did get her to ride the second biggest one down though (Slusher Gusher)...Again, hopefully next year! Did you ride it?
  11. We definitely still had a good time. There was only 1 day that was a total wash out, we got in 2 hours at Blizzard Beach before the sky opened up. Even that wasn't horrible because we did get rain checks and went back a few days later. The first week actually wasn't that bad, but when it rained during the second week it didn't seem to stop. As far as I am concerned it would take a hurricane to ruin a vacation in central Florida.
  12. I just returned from a 2 week vacation in RAINY central Florida...I felt like I was in Seattle moreso than central Florida.

  15. This is all over the media. I was just reading about it in USA Today, I think this is going to end up much bigger than just nickel and dime stuff. Mizzou is getting a bad name all across the country over this...Think Kalen Grimes might change his mind?

  17. I look forward to buying you a beer in September!
  18. THAT is why we will be better this year!
  19. I would be glad to buy you a beer Roy. In fact I have never been to a Billiken Club meeting and I look forward to attending my first... Can you tell me when the next one is? I honestly don't remember ripping you for being overly positive last year, but sometimes I have a hard time remembering last week. I do find your current negativity hard to stomach because you are the most frequent poster on the board and I wish you would give these new guys a chance before referring to them as "Heinrich clones". I do remember ripping you for thinking that Heinrich and Jeffers were NBA players the year before last. I'm not here to rip anyone I just want to have a good time and talk Billiken basketball.
  20. I happened to be in Columbia last week-end for the Missouri Games. I was very impressed from what I saw!!!
