I don't think so. -

I saw it, UNCA saw it, anybody else out there see it? You're saying you doubt it happened but you aren't calling me an idiot...What are you doing then, calling me a liar? Please tell me you aren't getting the "I know all" syndrome that others on this board have...We already have too many of those that we have to put up with! -

Who's being sarcastic now? I believe I know the difference between CS and AD. In the warm ups before the scrimmage, while doing the lay-up drill AD got up and jammed a couple in...Were they spectacular Dr. J type jams? No, but they were jams nonetheless. -
I will give you my opinion on a couple of your questions slu72. I believe that IO will be the primary scorer with RB a close second. Don't worry about RB, he will be fine...He showed a couple flashes of that sweet stroke last night. Husak should definitely be redshirted and spend ALOT of time in the weight room. I am a little concerned about Sloan's knee, hopefully it was nothing and he will be fine...I believe he will be the player that we saw towards the end of last year looking for his shot. Darren Clarke will get alot of minutes and he won't have to wait until the latter part of the season to get them. He looked VERY good last night!

Thicks, I wouldn't be surprised if AD does read the board, or at least has an informant that reads the board. I say this because after you so eloquently stated yesterday that AD can't dunk, he did several times last night. -
My thought (In no particular order): 1) Coach really got after the guys late in the practice, we are VERY lucky to have him! Again, thank you Lorenzo Romar and the University of Washington. 2) Varner will have a roll on this team this year and it will be more than just spot duty. 3) Ohannon, not Bryant, will lead this team in scoring average, but he needs to pick it up on the defensive end...Darren Clarke seemed to have his way with him...Which leads me to #4. 4) We are going to love Darren Clarke over the next 4 years! Did anybody see what happened to Sloan's knee? He spent several minutes talking to who I am guessing is the team doctor. The doctor then went to talk to coach for several minutes and Sloan sat out the rest of practice with an ice pack on his knee.

Very good response Roy, I look forward to shaking your hand tonight.

Good Point Roy but I am rather surprised that you would mention that...A few short months ago you kept posting about the 3 "big stiffs" that we have coming in this year without ever seeing them play. I agree completely, we should give Varner and EVERYBODY else a chance before we write ANYBODY off.

Keep in mind, I made the Perry statement knowing that AD has 3 years to grow and prosper as a player...Also, I never saw Coach Brad play, but I am willing to bet he was a scrappy player like AD is and I think Coach Brad really likes that style of play! Earl Austin put it best during a broadcast last season...Speaking of AD Earl said, "He's got MOXXXXXXIE!!!!!!!!"
-
The first time I saw him play I posted a message on here saying that he may be the best recruit we've had since Perry...I think he could end up being better than Perry.

Jeff was a favorite of mine as well Roy!

I received the same invitation and plan on being there with my wife. I don't think it had anything to do with the Billiken Club because I just joined this past week and the invitation came in the mail about 2 weeks ago. Maybe it was something that was sent out to season ticket holders that live in St. Charles County?

I love the fact that he lettered twice in golf! A 7 footer that has the hand eye coordination to play golf successfully is VERY RARE!!! http://slubillikens.ocsn.com/sports/m-bask...ak_bryce00.html

Eligibility wise, Reggie is a Junoir.

I think alot of people are giving UAB to much credit for their tourny run last year, I think the jury is still out on them.

First-hand A-10 Expansion Article...
BigMacSLU88 replied to davidnark's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
My take on the statement below is that he is reaching for a reason to invite BU, not slamming SLU's academics. "From an RPI point of view, Charlotte and Saint Louis are very good," Trachtenberg said. "From an academic point of view, it seems to me there are other schools out there whose mission is more in accord with our own." -
Sloan went to the bench for a few games last year.
