Some of what you say will probably be true but sports will not be leaving traditional TV for a long time. NBC_CBS and Fox are major bidders for the NFL games. Golf on the networks is a staple. Who covers the OLYMPICS. Instead of developing expensive drama shows on tv that money is going to sports. Sports is one of the only areas advertisers will pay top dollars for because viewers will watch live and not fast forward thru.

Not saying you are wrong because my knowledge on how any of this works is zero. I do think ESPN+ in it's current state will go away. The power 5 networks in their current state are able to fill programing. They are able to function and are able to make payments to member schools.I am not looking for pay outs but accesibility.

I know this is a pipe dream but why can’t the A-10 create their own network. The power 5 networks pay large sums of money to the member schools. A-10 schools would not command that. Work with a Fubo to produce. I would certainly sign on to a fubo for an A-10 network. Yeah I know I am dreaming .

Disney {Iger} has been very public about needing to do something with ESPN. I beleive he is looking for a merger partner . I think it is premeture to guess what will be offered.

Story in the Post Dispatch this morning. The ACC wants to add both schools and possibly SMU for money. They have a contract with ESPN running thru 36. If they add teams ESPN will pay the league more money. The new teams would receive a lower pay out. Thus the existing teams will get larger payments. It’s always about the money.

Wasn't Parker a juco scoring leader? The reason his numbers weren't better last year is he played fewer minutes because of Perkins.

I am not a fan of our approach. Maybe because we don’t have a lot of rim protectors but we start our defense inside out. With the 3 pointer being what it is I think you need to defend outside in.

I would argue that he should be more than a roll player. My points are his athletic ability has been underused. And I will say this about Parker- several times they were on a roll and subbed Out to put a starter back in yet Jimerson would never come out . Yes I would like to see what he can do with starter minutes not just starting a game and coming out at the first media timeout.

Again we watched a different game. What was the game when he scored the first 8 points and was immediately subbed out? Ford’s offense never used him well. Made him stand in the corner but never gave him the ball to shoot volume threes. Never ran enough lobs. Totally disagree on guarding the perimeter. Too slow he was not. I do agree that his rebounding was subpar for a player with his jumping ability. Yes he is an energy guy. If nothing else he energized the crowd.

Man we see a different game. I think his perimeter defense was very good. His interior defense very poor in that he was guarding players much larger. Why should he have a back to the basket game at his size . Brings great energy to the floor. The only point I agree on his his ball handling. He had moments when he was the best player on the floor but would get pulled out of the rotation because it was time. Yes he was underplayed.

Might be a stretch but I see Parker with Perkins ability. I definitely thought Ford underplayed him last year. Would not shock me to see him and Jimerson fighting for team scoring lead

I don’t deny any of this but I would assume most of these kids come from upper income families. Club soccer isn’t cheap.

How many scholarships do we have? And how do they divide them. Does anyone get a full?How does our higher tuition hurt versus a state school? Thanks
