SLURadioBoy
Looks like Timmerman finally wrote an article about the Bills. Some interesting stuff about Lisch's trip to Europe... http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/st...3A?OpenDocument "Praises we sing, to you our alma mater, Praise to the white and blue. Our hymn shall ring, in tribute strong to you, We hail Saint Louis U." Official Billikens.com sponsor of Andrew Latimer
billiken_roy
explain why a tidbit article like this couldnt appear weekly in the offseason and daily in season. very very good piece imo. i have sent tommy timmy congrats already. everyone should. maybe they will get a clue people want to read about the billikens at least as much as nascar and fishing. billikenmetz
Holy crap! Somebody actually did something over there. Nice phoned in effort by the Dutchman, Tom Timmerman.
billikenmetz
I bet Timmerman never even stepped foot in Grunk's office. Guy spends more time on the phone than my 14-year old sister. And he gives himself a byline. Great work, Dutchman.
alameda bob
if I were in town I'd get down to West Pine for the WVB this weekend
slu72
Check out SLU's VB coaches Almeda. If you lived there you'd be there for every game.
alameda bob
that's cheezy 72. The name's Bob, I used to live in Alameda. Next to hoops, VB is my favorite sport. As in most sports, the ladies don't quite have the power that the men do, but big time NCAA WVB is a great game and these are several near elite teams. I guess one of the best in the midwest is now Nebraska! Go figure?
Big City Bob
Today's Belleville News Democrat has an article on LSU's Lauren De Girolamo who played for Belleville West. She was named SEC Freshman of the Week. According to the article, she wss offered a full ride by SLU. www.belleville.com/mld/belleville/sports/15414712htm ...click on "West grad has big debut for Louisiana St." I imagine she'll have a lot of friends and family at the SLU/LSU game this weekend.
