former_d1 Posted October 10, 2003 Share Posted October 10, 2003 just booked my hotel to the memphis game. the peabody and some of the other nicer hotels are sold out. pricelined a room at the raddisson downtown for $65. who else will be there and anybody know the staff to get good tickets before i have to go through ticketbastor? billiken_roy Posted October 10, 2003 Share Posted October 10, 2003 the radison is a good buy. i have stayed there a number of times for the cusa tourney. it is just across the street from the peabody and i think a two block walk to the trolley line which you can take to the game for like 50 cents or a dollar. i think the radison is in the entertainment book if anyone is looking for a discount. also, as you walk out of the front door of the radison, straight across the street is the ballpark (a beauty) and across the street and then go left and walk a half of a block and look down the alley. the roundevous!!! best ribs in america.
